Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand that you do not wish to continue using the Ring Protect subscription services for your Ring Alarm 9-Piece Kit. While subscribed to one of our Ring Protect Plans, you will have access to videos of every motion and live view event for any Ring cameras that you have. We are happy to provide you with some information regarding the concern that you mentioned in your review.

Ring Alarm and all Ring Alarm accessories require a subscription for digital notifications, in-app features, digital arming/disarming, and integration with other Ring, Echo, and third party products. When you subscribe to the Ring Protect Plan, you have the option of being billed monthly or annually. If you choose monthly billing, you will be billed every 30 days for the set amount.

We have included the instructions below for how to cancel your Ring Protect Plan subscription. Prior to cancelling, it is recommended that you download and save all of your important videos to a smartphone or PC before cancelling a plan. Once a plan is cancelled, the videos are deleted immediately and Ring is not able to recover videos. Once you have downloaded and saved all of your important videos you may begin the cancellation process by logging into your Ring.com account.

1. Log in to your account on Ring.com.
2. Select Protect Plan on the top menu.
3. Select the plan you want to cancel.
4. On the bottom of the page, select Cancel Plan, then a reason for cancellation.
5. Select when to cancel your plan (now or at the end of your billing cycle).
6. Confirm cancellation.

If you’re eligible for a refund, the refund amount will be returned to the payment method in your Ring account. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process.

* If you no longer have the debit or credit card that was on the Ring account, please contact your financial institution for instructions on how to receive your refund.
