Decent kit. App not great

After reading your review, it seems that you are having trouble setting up your Ring Alarm in the Ring App. If this is the case, we recommend rebooting the Ring App. To reboot the Ring App, force close in the Ring App in your phone's respective settings and then re-open the app. For more troubleshooting tips, please see our help center article: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217240386-In-app-Setup-Failing-Repeatedly.

Package has a little bit of everything to get started, just what we were looking for! Ring customer service is awesome, and all the security items were easy to install!

It works seamlessly with Amazon Alexa products and you can even view the camera from your fire sticks. I programmed Alexa to say what door or window was opened.

I was so tired of the high fees and wires all over the house with adt so we switched to the ring system. It’s affordable and gives us comfort when we aren’t home knowing our home is safe.

Don’t pay other installation companies that then charge you 3-5 times more monthly than what this costs for monitoring. It does the same job as any of those companies, for way less!

The kit is a great way to start off. You get a number of essential components, which you can then add to later.

Ring gives you thirty days of full service then they stop core functions if you don't sign-on to thier service plan. This they only tell you after you purchase not prior to purchase. Every one that plans to buy Ring should know that upfront.

I needed this part for another $200 or $300.

It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the different accessories for the Ring Alarm. The Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor works with the Ring Alarm Base Station to alert you when water or freezing temperatures are detected in your home. A Ring Alarm Base Station is required to use the Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor. Your sensor should be placed within 250 feet of the base station. If necessary, you can use a range extender. Visit our support center for additional information and to learn more about the different Ring Alarm accessories available to help monitor your home.

Super affordable monthly, and the equipment is reasonable especially if you can snag it on a sale ;)
