The features and technology provided by the Ring Alarm are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We are here to provide you with some information to resolve the issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing to your expectations. The Ring Alarm 8-Piece Security Kit is designed to secure entry points, detect motion, and more, with Alarm Sensors that trigger your Alarm’s siren. You can easily control all aspects of your Ring Alarm using your phone, tablet, or the computer. You can arm and disarm your system with the free Ring app (available on iOS and Android) or the website by logging in to your account on Ring.com. You can use the Keypad if you’re indoors and not near your phone or tablet.
Ring Alarm provides three Security Modes to control your system:
Home Mode arms your door and window Contact Sensors by default, keeping you safe when you’re at home.
Away Mode arms all of your select sensors, ideal for when no one is home.
Disarmed Mode allows you to go in and out of your home without setting off the Alarm.
You can also link your cameras to your Ring device Modes, and automatically enable and disable video recording to protect your privacy.
The Ring Alarm Base Station comes with a 24-hour backup battery that kicks in whenever the power at home goes out. If you subscribe to Ring Protect Pro, you’ll also get Alarm cellular backup service to help your Ring Alarm stay online and help you stay connected to our monitoring center during an outage.

We switched to a series of Ring cameras so I would not hold it against the company as the cameras worked fine, gave us more visual coverage of our house and grounds but did so at a greater cost. Considering that the cameras did work well with our network this setup might have worked as well had we not changed door and window trim to the extent we did.

Cheap system

If not then go with a security company. This is about the cheapest way of a security system but I’ve learned my lesson to do reviews. Everything I’ve spent I could have gone with a local company and have nice coverage instead I didn't Do the reviews and I did This route and it’s ridiculous. Half the time the system is down and once WiFi goes out your toast. Trust me don’t buy it!
