If you experience a false alarm, we would like to note that you can prevent the fire department from coming to your home. You can cancel a smoke alarm by answering the first monitoring center call, or by disarming your Ring Alarm Keypad within the first 30 seconds. You can’t cancel using the Ring app. Even if you cancel, our monitoring center will still call to notify you and your emergency contacts. You would think with the technology in todays world Ring would build a "detector" thats integrated. Not one that "listens" for another then sends notifications. An the fact you now have detectors on your walls/ceiling an now this too. Read carefully what this IS!
