Great for what it’s worth. Instillation is very easy and needed no tools. Sensors are battery powered and just deactivate when dead and don’t alert you which is the only downside so far. Recently added to echo devices which is a huge plus

I love this item it works exactly as stated the only recommendation would be to have a longer battery life between charges

A cost effective system that allows the option of inexpensive professional monitoring. Still in the learning phase but so far so good. I think we'll really appreciate the peace of mind knowing our home is more secure.

Setup was quick and easy. I like that there's a way for other Ring users to inform you of crimes in the area. It also lowers your mortgage.

Pretty easy to install edit for six months one of my sensors went out ring sent me a new one right away customer service is awesome

I purchased the starter kit and 10 additional sensors. Setting up the components in the starter kit was a breeze. Then came the sensor nightmare. I setup the second sensor just as easily as the startup kit. The next 7 sensors took 30 mins each to get going. The 8th I cannot get installed. I read somewhere that if you're installing multiples to give it time to do so because the system cannot handle the requests by the other sensors. This is very accurate. If you buy a kit and extra sensors I would say to install the base kit then wait 30 mins to an hr to do a sensor. Then after that sensor wait 10 mins. Then what you need to do is pray. Pray the app doesn't act up during the process. Pray pairing works correctly. I've had to hard reset every sensor I purchased thus far and run the "manual" installation. I cant get this 8th sensor to pair at all. This isn't rocket science. My level of expertise is to where I can build one of these myself. I design, build and install large enterprise networks for a living. There is a problem with the app and a problem with the handshake between the devices. The sensors I do have installed thus far and the base unit are working great so I am hopeful I will keep this once the rest are installed. Ring should pay me for the time I've wasted on this. Also I waited an hr on the phone for their support before I hung up the phone.

Very easy to set up as the app walks your through the entire process, great value compared to traditional Security systems and the best part no contract!!!

The hardest part to me was deciding placement of keypad, but it was very easy to directions. However you will need you Smartphone will need to be fully charged, because everything will set-up and run thru it.

So far the best security system I’ve had without crazy fees. Simple to install. Love the neighborhood feature. Wish there were more door sensors though.

This is superior compared to Nest. Plus monitoring is much cheaper than Nest if you want it. Overall a great value and product.

Grest system for the price. Love how I can know which door is open, if there is movement in the house, and see who is walking around outside.

We ditched our alarm service and love this one. You can’t beat the price and checking in on everything from our phones is the bomb.
