Easy to install this alarm. Only took 1 hour to set up. Had to charge up the key pads but that’s it.

This was super easy for me to install and use. My kids were able to figure out how to use it easily too.

Setup is pretty straight forward, but is slow. One motion detector refused to register so I had to contact support and they could not get it connected as well. They sent out replacement.

Easy to set-up with the app. Security system is quick to respond and push notifications to your phone are great.

The Ring system ticks a lot of boxes. The system is fairly inexpensive to start. It is very scalable at a reasonable cost. It is very flexible with regards to power/battery. And it has a full sweet of complimentary products (lights, cameras, sensors, etc.). Also, the monthly monitoring is one of the cheapest available at just $10 a month. As a negative, I found the door sensors were a pain to get set up. There is an easy explanation (hold the button on the inside while searching in the app), it took a fair amount of research to discover this. Also, the siren could be louder, but there are 3rd party sirens that are compatible if you wish to expand your system.

Easy to set up and use and works well. Had an initial problem with a sensor but I called Ring customer support and they immediately knew the issue and sent me out a new sensor. Great service.

Use this without payed monitoring. Was easy to install and it will alert you via text or email if a sensor is tripped while in selected modes. It functions well most of the time. It does lose internet connectivity a few times per month. Using a Velop router to check the connection the problem seems to be the alarm itself and not internet being down. So not 100% reliable but it works most of the time. As a stand alone without cameras it does a reasonable job keeping you informed.

The good. Easy to use. Can control with phone or key pad. The bad Not as loud as I thought it would be. Also only came with 3 door/window sensors. Could use more.

Easy to set up and use. Uses mobile network and backup power if you lose power to it. Definitely would recommend.

Setup was pretty simple. My father is in his 90s and sometimes wakes up at night confused and disoriented, sometimes wondering out of the house. I got the security kit to allow for me to relax at night. I turn it on and no worries. If a door is opened the alarm goes off. It is more than loud enough to wake me if needed. There is an option of a very low price to have external monitoring by Ring. I don't use it but the price is very competitive.
