Ring door bell and anti theft mount

Despite a few hiccups when installing a second, you'll have a short drop of the initial/1st ring. It works itself out, likely due to using the Chime Pro.. no issues after that though.

Best Buy customer service was a big help when making my decision. Sales person was professional, Informative and made sure I knew he was available to help me when I was ready to make my purchase.

I recently moved out of a city apartment and into the suburbs. Great to monitor my packages and talk to folks when I am not home. It also helped a neighbor find their lost cat when it showed up on my front porch!

Ring Video Doorbell Plus

The actual item works great, and the app is easy to use. It also has an included corner kit which I used and was perfect for my setup. Love the Ring products.

So my advice is this: If you don't already have a doorbell, this is a good one to buy but if you already have one, this is not worth upgrading for.

We understand the importance of having a solid charge on your Ring Battery Doorbell Plus so that you are able to have a longer time between charge cycles. Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your device set up for optimal battery-life performance. The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner.
To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can:
Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity.
Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones."
Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically.
You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion.
You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery.
To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check.
Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage."
Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length.".
We recommend using the Ring Solar Charger or the Ring Plug-In Adapter to assist with extending the life of the battery in your Ring Battery Doorbell. The Ring Solar Charger for Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is a solar power source that can be mounted behind your Ring doorbell. The Ring Plug-in Adapter (2nd Generation) is designed to convert battery-powered video doorbells so they can run using line current.

Setting up the wifi connection was a snap. Hanging it on the house was not. It did not come with the plate to hang it. Only after purchase and opening the box, did I learn I needed to seperatly purchase it. The instructions to hang were poor. It's for that reason, I gave it four stars.

I love my Ring Doorbell.

We live in a gated community so we get very few people coming to our door. With my Ring Doorbell I am confident that I will always be able to monitor our patio/front door area and be alerted when we have someone at the door.
