This is very helpful to see people outside your door and you can even talk to them while you in different place. The best protection for your family as well. You can also monitor your deliveries when they arrived. I will highly recommend this for security and protection. thumbs up

Great devise, other than wifi blockers

Good field of vision. Clear image. BUT, all the delivery people know to use their wifi blockers so you never see when they deliver. You have to search the image later to see if the package is within view of the camera.

It sounds like your Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is not performing as expected. If your device appears to be missing a lot of motion, you may want to check the motion frequency setting. The motion frequency control allows you to reduce alerts from repetitive patterns of motion or increase alerts so you get notified about the motion events that matter to you. Additionally, you can customize up to three Motion Zones to specify the exact areas and distances you want your camera to monitor.
Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling the "Smart Alerts" feature for people only in your Ring app. To enable "Smart Alerts," please follow these steps:
Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.
Tap your device's Settings
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Smart Alerts.
To activate Smart Alerts, tap Enable Feature.
Tap Continue.
Choose your preferred alerts for Person, Vehicle and Other Motion.
Tap Done to save new settings. Editing existing settings will save automatically.

Only had slight connectivity issues where it goes offline and I may miss a ring at times but it comes back on pretty quickly. Buying it for $100 was well worth its price and if you have an apartment, just need a camera for the front door, then this camera is really great!

Love my Ring video doorbell

I don't mount it on the wall - instead, I bought a doorbell mount so I can attach it to my door without any screws. Works great!

Then software problems. The batteries kept going flat!! The Ring is far superior. Easy to install and batteries have far longer life
