The product itself is sturdy, not too hard to install, and has user friendly features. Will be looking into other ring products. The video quality is great, the sound does tend to lag for a moment but is reliable.

With the new one the camera is upgraded, with a larger field of vision and sharper focus. I would recommend!

The camera catches evrything you need to see and hear. You also get random notifications of things in your neighborhood of others who own the cameras and they ask of lost dogs found and power outages and so much more.

Initially purchased it due to a package being taken from my door at the end of July (the first time that ever happened after living at that apartment complex for 4 years). It is really SO helpful. I know when someone’s at the door, I know when/where my package has been delivered, I see animals, etc. I 1000% recommend everyone to get a ring bell. It’s also nice doing the two-way communication with someone when they ring your bell, my first time doing that was a few weeks ago when I moved to my new apartment complex haha. It was pretty cool answering the bell from my phone while I was out and about. Also, the battery life is pretty good, and I enjoy the Neighbors information, as well. 10/10 recommend this product.

This is very helpful to see people outside your door and you can even talk to them while you in different place. The best protection for your family as well. You can also monitor your deliveries when they arrived. I will highly recommend this for security and protection. thumbs up

I don't mount it on the wall - instead, I bought a doorbell mount so I can attach it to my door without any screws. Works great!

It sounds like your Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is not performing as expected. We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Battery Doorbell Plus functioning as intended. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to "Frequently."
Notification delays are often related to wifi connection or mobile device variables. A delay of under six seconds is expected due to signal fluctuation. To learn more about your device's signal strength, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll to Signal Strength under the Network section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good; red is poor.

I would recommend this doorbell. In the future i will look into buying some camera for the back yard etc.

I only could not mount it as fire steel lined burn proof door could not be drilled or damaged by installer due to insurance and contract agreement.

Then software problems. The batteries kept going flat!! The Ring is far superior. Easy to install and batteries have far longer life
