They were both hit and miss on movement.....1 minute it picks up movement and the next it misss it......for the price far from worth it.

The original ring was better than the ones we have - at least they didnt automatically turn off whenever they decided too. The settings suggest you can turn that off but even turning the setting, it still stops recording. It can barely catch us coming into our home but has missed 100% of the times our yard has been vandalized. I wish we had literally bought anything else.

It sounds like you have some concerns with the motion detection of your device. For optimal motion detection, mount the doorbell about 4 feet (1.2 meters) above the ground. If your device is mounted too high, a wedge kit can be installed to angle the doorbell down to improve motion detection.
