I was surprised to see that how affordable it was. Works great, and didn’t break the bank. Easy set up and even easier to use day to day to check on things away from home.

Combined with the ring app it works very well to monitor our front door. We ended up signing up for the basic plan as it was more reasonable in price yet met our needs.

It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

I was glad to add this to my other ring cameras. My other ring doorbell that we use on out side of the house is great. Love the extra security I get from having the cameras.
