The only downfall is it takes almost 10sec of a delay before it notifies you but overall it was a great purchase.

It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the solar panel. The Ring Battery Doorbell is compatible with the Ring Solar Charger for Battery Doorbell. This product only works with Ring Battery Doorbell with a USB-C power connector.

I can't walk fast and if I'm in the back of the house it is nice to know who is at the door and communicate with them.
