If I didn't have my phone with me I couldn't hear the ring door bell. This enhanced the volume and was perfect for those times when I am in another part of the office. In addition to that it is a very nice blend in with the decor!

If I... a wifi, computer, smart phone, internet challenged person, can read the directions and make it work within minutes it's a good deal. Anyone can do it! This with a ring video door bell plus and a 2nd gen echo show 8. D We set it to dogs barking when my Ring door bell is pressed. This Chime pro is right between my doorbell and the wifi source, in my entry area. Now the dogs barking sound is like they are in another room or out back maybe, but noticeable and audible. Guests have heard thru a solid fire door and asked. But... it is not loud or aggressive like a Rotty right at the door. Wish it was, but I feel like this should be clarified for others. Why would anyone expect that loudness when looking at this? So don't. It still gets a well deserved five stars.

Only issue I have had is that one gives a good signal and the other one not so much. Every once and while that flip-flops. The blue light on these I ended up putting a piece of electrical tape over. They need to have a LED disable option in the app. The night light is handy and bright. Was very easy to setup.

It is in my hallway and looks great, sounds great, and the night light is a much added plus! I didn't even know it had a night light but I am happy each time I walk by.

All my Ring devices are connected to this device, connectivity was very easy, and is working perfectly. The chime is also loud enough to hear throughout the house. I will recommend this device to anyone.

It was easy to install and program. I love the features. It gives you many, many choices for your ring tones and other things and set-up is a breeze. Also love the night light feature.

You can have it relatively far away from the Ring camera and it will still work well. Easy to set up and control. The one piece of equipment from Ring that has not given me any issues so far

It was easy to connect wirelessly to our Ring doorbell. The different doorbell sounds can be changed on the app, as well as the loudness.

It didn't. This extender helped extend Wi-Fi a little and improved signal strength a bit. It has plenty of volume as a door bell chime. I ended up getting a more powerful extender from a trusted name. It improved the signal strength more than the Chime Pro. Unfortunately, Ring cameras just have poor resolution.

Most Ring security cameras are designed to provide up to 1080p HD video, so that you can see any activity around your home. We would love the opportunity to work with you to ensure your devices are performing as intended.
It sounds like you have some concerns with the video quality you are seeing, even after improving the signal strength. In this instance, your wifi speeds may be impacting the video quality. We recommend running a speed test to confirm that your speeds are sufficient for optimal performance. Follow these steps to run a wifi speed test:
Turn off your mobile phone’s cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your device.
Tap Device Health.
Under Tools tap Test Your Wifi.
Tap Start to run a test that will measure your upload and download speed.
Both upload and download speeds should be at least 1 Mbps or greater, but 2 Mbps or above is ideal.
Check the numbers on your wifi speed test. If either your upload or download speed are below 1 Mbps then you might consider replacing your router (especially if it's older than five years). Contact your internet service provider to learn more about getting newer equipment and faster speeds.

We have two ring doorbells. One of them is located about 50-60 from the router so the extended worked wonders with that doorbell.
