Ring chime

It has several ring types for different functions. When you ring the door bell we set it up with a very different sound. Our dogs bark a lot when the doorbell rings but with this they dont even know the doorbell was activated. Luv it!!

Like the other ring products, it will sometimes lose signal with no explanation. Occasionally shows last signal of a good quality, but disconnected from network.

We are happy to provide you with more information on improving the connection of your Ring Chime Pro. Here are a few of the top reasons for poor connectivity:
Your Ring device may be too far from your WiFi router.
Your home wifi connection is poor (or your internet service provider is experiencing high traffic).
To learn more about your device's signal strength, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap “Devices.”
Select the ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the “Device Health” tile.
Scroll to “Signal Strength” under the “Network” section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good; red is poor.
Move your wifi router off the floor.

Just made sense to marry the 2 together. Work really well. Just my AT&T internet that is not the best. Would recommend this to everyone that has the doorbell.

One barely had signal and the other didnt have any signal at all. The next day i bought this chime pro to extend the wifi signal. Both spotlights now have perfect signal. I highly reccomend this product.

Its working as expected and good part is it having path light and ring bridge as for connectivity.

Perfect Ring Range Extender.

I bought it for a range extender since my doorbell camera was far away from my router. A little tricky to get the door bell switched over, but once you do it works perfect.

It worked quite well at allowing me to expand my Ring network across a wider range in my house. I highly recommend it if you have a Ring device beyond the 30 foot range of your router.

A Ring doorbell can be connected to a Nutone intercom, but with great difficulty and expense. This is not a DIY project and most electricians would not even want to tackle it, and not worth pursuing with a 35 year old intercom system. I had never installed a traditional wired chime and push button, so this was quicker, cleaner and less expensive to use my new Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus with 2 Ring Chime Pros. I have a two story house, so one was installed centrally on each floor. RSSI rating for downstairs chime is 44, and for upstairs chime (which is nearer my WiFi router) is 31 (lower the better). Very satisfactory ratings and system has functioned well. Setup took a while, but with the help of a Ring and a YouTube video, it all came together. I would definitely recommend the Ring Chime Pro, especially for those with situations like mine.

Ring for small business
