I didn't need a signal booster but was instead looking to get rid of the analog bell. This does that, and the nightlight is a nice touch.

I wish I'd done more research...

Turns out it only works for Ring items i.e. doorbell, door sensors, etc. The range seems a bit lacking as the signal was stronger from my Eero router (which was further) to my doorbell...which is why I gave this 4 stars. Not bad, easy setup and all...but unless you're putting it fairly close to what you want to extend a signal to, I'd go with a other wi-fi extenders (or just a Ring Chime if you want to just hear your doorbell somewhere else).

It extends my network signal to my Ring doorbell. With this unit, I have a consistent connection. It does what it is designed to do. Just remember, this unit only works for Ring products. It's not a general range extender.

Installed in our downstairs Rec room as a second chime to notify us when someone is at our door. Easy to sync with our doorbell. Very happy!

Other than that it does not work with other Ring devices such as your indoor/outdoor cameras. The volume is low and you already get the loud alert from your phone. This is not what I think it could be unless I did not set up correctly.

Being able to rely on the alerts is an essential feature of the Ring Chime Pro. We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. Your Ring Chime Pro is designed to work with all of your Ring devices, not just your doorbell camera. Once linked, your Chime will sound an alert whenever motion is detected on any of your connected Ring devices. To link your Ring Chime Pro with your other Ring cameras, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.
Tap your device's Settings.
Tap Linked Chimes.
Select Motion Detected.
Tap the music note icon to hear a tone when someone rings your doorbell or motion is detected.
Tap Save in the upper right corner
Additionally, Ring Chime Pro was designed with the ability to customize the type of sound and the volume you hear when an event takes place.
We recommend following these steps to adjust the volume on your Ring Chime Pro.
Tap on the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your Chime.
Tap Audio Settings.
Tap Chime Tones.
Adjust the volume sliders under Rings and Motion.

The specialist who came out was thoroughly knowledgeable about the system and what was required for a clean installation and initialization. System is working great and I'm so pleased with it that I am now considering adding to it. Used the 24/7 tech support to get some answers to questions that I had and they were great. Knew their product and professionally assisted me with my inquiry. The highest praise of a product or company is when you become a repeat customer...which I have become.

It sounds like the device is not operating as expected. Even with your Chime Pro, your router is still your main source of connection for your Ring device. Ideally, the maximum distance between the router and your device is 20-25 feet with the Chime Pro about halfway between the Ring device and your router. If possible, try moving the router closer to the device. Also, make sure your router is not in a closet or behind furniture, like a sofa, so the router has an unobstructed signal.
