I purchase it to go along with my ring doorbell. i love that i can adjust the volume, change the tone and move it to different location. its nice to be able to move it to the Patio when we are in the back. we never miss any notification.

It boosted the signal so my outdoor cameras receive a lower RSSI and work better. My only complaint is that the newer Chime Pro comes with a three-prong receptor and I live in an older home with many two-long plugs. I was able to make it work with an adapter.

I can change the volume of alerts and I have many choices of the kind of sounds I can use for the alerts as well. I’m very happy with this gadget.

Works well and will act as a wifi hotspot for other Ring devices to provide a better wifi signal to devices far from the router. No issues so far.

Plugged it in, followed instructions, and it works perfectly. Would recommend this for dead spots in your hose.

Your Chime Pro can play different sounds for motion and ring events. You can also adjust the volume of the device to suit your needs. We recommend following these steps to choose the best sound and volume for Chime alerts for your environment:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the top menu (☰) and then Devices.
Select your Chime or Chime Pro device.
Tap Audio Settings, then Chime Tones.
You'll see two tabs at the top of the screen: rings and motions.
Tap Rings and select your favorite sound. Chime will play when someone presses your doorbell. You'll hear an audio sample when chosen. You can also adjust the volume with the slider.
Tap Motions and select your favorite sound. Chime will play when motion is detected on your Ring doorbells and cameras. You can also adjust the volume with the slider.

Spent ungodly hours with both Ring and Xfinity trying to get the regular chime to stay online. No resolve with either. I took the plunge to the Pro and no problems.
