We also use it to extend wifi coverage To the doorbell as the signal otherwise is poor through the stone exterior walls.

I do like that you can set different chimes - I chose the dog barking - but I wish I could turn it up a lot louder and keep it chiming (barking) for security reasons. I bought a Chime Pro, which is also a range extender, and hoping it will extend the wifi signal to a Chime at the far end of my home.

Tap Devices.
Select your Chime.
Tap Audio Settings.

This is a better and slimmer model. Easy to configure (basically plug and play). Works as it should.

Having a solid connection ensures you do not miss any activity around your home. We are eager to address the issue you raised in your review and provide you with a resolution today.
It sounds like the device is not operating as expected. Even with your Chime Pro, your router is still your main source of connection for your Ring device. Ideally, the maximum distance between the router and your device is 20-25 feet with the Chime Pro about halfway between the Ring device and your router. If possible, try moving the router closer to the device. Also, make sure your router is not in a closet or behind furniture, like a sofa, so the router has an unobstructed signal.

It was perfect for Halloween cause it has different sounds you can can set it to when someone is at your door. There’s witches , screaming etc.

It’s all easily controlled from the app. It’s nice that it has a night light feature. Not terribly obtrusive but you lose access to a plug. You can still use the receptacle below the chime.
