Great Addition to the Ring Family

I also really enjoyed that this model has a nightlight feature so serves an additional purpose lighting up the area at night.

In addition to making the expected sounds, they are also range boosters. One must go through an installation procedure, but it's pretty clear, and all my units are up and running perfectly. Would I recommend? Absolutely.

I like the fact that it’s also used as a Wi-Fi extender exclusively for ring products so it builds a bridge between the router and the doorbell camera. I think for the pro model it’s a very smart and innovative product and I also like the fact that it comes with a built-in nightlight it’s placed in a hallway, so it gives us a warm sense of security to have light, illuminating and keeping all of our rain products connected and stable

It didn't. This extender helped extend Wi-Fi a little and improved signal strength a bit. It has plenty of volume as a door bell chime. I ended up getting a more powerful extender from a trusted name. It improved the signal strength more than the Chime Pro. Unfortunately, Ring cameras just have poor resolution.

Most Ring security cameras are designed to provide up to 1080p HD video, so that you can see any activity around your home. We would love the opportunity to work with you to ensure your devices are performing as intended.
It sounds like you have some concerns with the video quality you are seeing, even after improving the signal strength. In this instance, your wifi speeds may be impacting the video quality. We recommend running a speed test to confirm that your speeds are sufficient for optimal performance. Follow these steps to run a wifi speed test:
Turn off your mobile phone’s cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your device.
Tap Device Health.
Under Tools tap Test Your Wifi.
Tap Start to run a test that will measure your upload and download speed.
Both upload and download speeds should be at least 1 Mbps or greater, but 2 Mbps or above is ideal.
Check the numbers on your wifi speed test. If either your upload or download speed are below 1 Mbps then you might consider replacing your router (especially if it's older than five years). Contact your internet service provider to learn more about getting newer equipment and faster speeds.

We are in a fairly large house and the chime is located in the middle which makes hearing someone at the front door much more likely. You can also select from a number of chime tones, from humorous through classic. We went for "Big Ben."

(My wife didn't go for the barking dog chime option though, traditional doorbell all the way.) I also like how you can make it notify you of other cameras being triggered and such with different chimes from the doorbell sound. The nightlight was an added bonus and the fact that it only turns on in low light is cool. My wife wanted it off all the time at first, but decided she likes the added light in the middle of the night. Finally, the range extension in provides was an added bonus. I didn't realize that one camera was receiving a lower WiFi signal. When is connected through the Chime Pro it was much more responsive. All in all, very happy with this addition.

Works as a motion detector and a door bell has 20 different ring tones. Happy with its operation and features!

Has custom rings. You can adjust volume. I can hear my Ring now from any room. Quality product and easy to set up!

Ring on front door wasn't working until I got this. I like how you can hear the doorbell much better with this. Even has a night light feature that you can turn off if not being used.
