I have tried other items and they were either difficult to install or difficult to add to my account. I love the Chime.

The connection is also more reliable, with the old model I would have to reset it by unplugging it every so often. The light can also be turned off, I found it too bright.

She didn't have an existing wired doorbell at her house, and she has a habit of having her phone on silent, so she would not hear the notification if someone was at her door. Easy to pair with your Ring account.

I like the fact that I can control the sounds and control the volume as I suffer from migraines and sometimes I can't handle certain sounds.

The Ring Chime solved that problem and does what it's supposed to, as she can hear the chime.

We bought this and it works great. I love that I can change the chimes - Gobble, gobble for Thanksgiving and now Santa’s Ho Ho HO!

I did not have a door at that location , no electrical hook up. bought wireless door bell camera and chime.
