Sometimes I have my phone on silent so this works well and alerts us when there's motion or someone is at our door.

Great for older house!

Didn’t have to rewire for the video doorbell I put up. Would have cost quadruple the price to rewire! Every time the doorbell ring this thing chimes

So she wanted to hear something in the house in case she did not have her phone or what have you. Set up took all of a couple minutes and we went with the traditional door bell chime. Been great overall.

Ring Doorbell Chime

Anyone that has dogs that go crazy when someone knocks on the door or rings the doorbell will appreciate the numerous different tones. My dogs haven't figured it out yet, and when they do, I'll just set it to a different sound.

With this addition to my Ring doorbell, I can be anywhere in the house and hear the chime go off. I can adjust the volume and the tone I want to hear when someone arrives. I'm sure to never miss someone at my door ever again.

We actually returned it though, and bought the pro version, so we could put it on our Wi-fi and install it in a room a distance away from our front door.

It is supposed to be a repeater to boost signal to out lying cameras on network but have not noticed improvement
