Improvement over previous version

The connection is also more reliable, with the old model I would have to reset it by unplugging it every so often. The light can also be turned off, I found it too bright.

I like the fact that I can control the sounds and control the volume as I suffer from migraines and sometimes I can't handle certain sounds.

The Ring Chime solved that problem and does what it's supposed to, as she can hear the chime.

She didn't have an existing wired doorbell at her house, and she has a habit of having her phone on silent, so she would not hear the notification if someone was at her door. Easy to pair with your Ring account.
