My only complaint is that most of the ringtones get a bit distorted above about 75% volume, and honestly if you have larger house, you're gonna need this at 100% as it a good bit louder than it is at 75%. The default ring tone works well at 100% volume so im glad for that at least.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. If your Ring Chime's ringstone get distorted, we recommend that you reset the device by pressing and holding the rest button on the side of the device for 20 seconds.

With this chime, it is easy to hear the bell in the basement or anywhere in the house as the chime can be plugged in anywhere.

Ring Chime for Use With Cameras and Doorbells

Out of the box to full use in less than5 minutes, tops. Needed a software update which it downloaded and installed itself. Really one of the easiest products to install. The blue light can be turned off if it’s too much light for your room.
