We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. Your Ring Chime can play different sounds for motion and ring events, and you can also adjust the volume. We recommend following these steps to choose the best sound for Chime alerts for your environment:
Tap on the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your Chime.
Tap Audio Settings.
Tap Chime Tones.
Adjust the volume sliders under Rings and Motion.

Must have been a bad day in store because another customer said she wanted to give her gift card away bc the employees were awful.

Bought this one to replace it. It connects to Wifi easily and works great.

New generation chime

So far so good, this chime is better because of signal strength. The first generation just kept dropping signal. This one stays connected in the same outlet.
