I got this so I won’t need to look at my phone anymore. Really simple setup and WOW this thing is loud!! Plugs into and outlet so didn’t need another battery pak!

We had the ring doorbell synced with our Alexa Echo, but found we could only hear the door on our main floor. With the ring doorbell we can hear it upstairs too. We can't hear it in our basement unless the basement door is open, but for us that isn't a problem.

With this chime it works just like a normal doorbell and it’s easy for all parties.

When I first installed my Ring doorbell it Rand through my old bell then stopped. Now I can tell that someone is at my door with having to hold my cellphone to hear the ring.

It is easy to navigate and set up and I am not tech savvy. If you have 2 levels in your home, it might be a good idea to purchase one for your upstairs and one for downstairs. Sometimes it is hard to hear it from far away if there is any background noise going on

Easy doorbell fix

Just plug it in and connect it to the existing ring doorbell and select the chime tones you like. You don't have to have tools or mess with any wires. Very flexible way to get notice that someone is at your door, anywhere in your home or even like when you are out on your deck or patio.

As it turns out, the Ring doorbell rings my existing mechanical doorbell on its own without this. For the little while I was using it, I appreciated it thoughtful design and different sounds.
