Ring Fit is a fun exercise game that also does happen to be a good workout. At least for a person of the lazier persuasion. Here are cool bits about this game I haven't seen many online reviews mention: you can set an alarm as a reminder to play that will go off no matter what you're playing and will use the ring light on the home button, you can just do set routines, you can also use the ring offline with a controller to add "experience" to your character, and there is a way you can jump into doing exercises without doing the RPG part of the game and without setting a routine. So far, I've only been playing the game. The Ring character does tend to talk a lot, but not too much. It's not as annoying as it could be. Usually it's just enough to get my breath back for another round. All round a fun and useful game.

It is one of the best offerings from Nintendo. My son loves it and he gets his daily exercise with it. Only negative is that the accessories are only supported by RingFit adventure hoping new games will be launched by nintendo in the futrue

I cannot recommend this game enough. Where Wii Fit was a fun diversion that ultimately had little in the way of actual fitness, Ring Fit Adventure manages to be both a great workout and so much fun. As someone who is prone to forego exercise in favor of video games, this is a great way to do both at once and be much healthier than I was before! A big highlight is how customizable it is. There are a wide variety of difficulties for people of all fitness levels, and a few settings to address disabilities or lack of space (I use the silent mode so I don't bother the other people in my building!) All things considered, this really is an amazing game. It's a classic case of Nintendo's ingenuity, and I look forward to playing it every day. If you're at all interested, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

We use to have the wii with the wii fit games. The console went bad. Thankfully it was outdated and couldn’t be replaced so we purchased the switch. Was hoping for some fitness games and boy does this go beyond fitting the bill for that. There is so much to choose from on this and you can customize it. The graphic are so much better then the old wii. It will give you a workout and still be fun. It keeps a tally of what you have done. Including time and calories burned. I have read that the calories burned is not accurate. But that doesn’t bother me. If you are looking for something to replace you old wii fit, go with a switch console and add this game to it.

A little difficult for my 5 year olds, but it isn't recommended for them anyway. My 10 year old thinks it is fun and provides some movement when stuck inside. I set it up for myself and chose a challenge and it got me to work up a sweat while playing a video game. Pretty cool.

This game is very good for exercise! It's level up to train your body. Tabata, work out , Yoga...etc We whole family enjoy this so much! Somehow is a bit boring at the beginning but it got more exciting afterwards! If you need exercise at home, this one is not doubt to purchase!

This game is so much fun and is great for your avid fitness enthusiast. Don't let the 'fit' fool you, this game is great for most wellness enthusiasts. From stretching to yoga and intense cardio to muscle burning this game will keep your fitness and wellness engaged. One feature I really like that this game offer is the ability to let you create and curate workouts as you see fit. You can curate your own workout exercises and have routines so when you load up the game you are able to select specific workouts depending on what you need or how you feel. Adventure mode is great and although the game is not multiplayer friendly it does offer multiple profiles for other users so you may use to compete or track each others accomplishments. Definitely recommend it.

I bought this right after the holidays. It sat in a box until we were quarantined. My 20 year old son and 16 year old daughter use this every other day. The game is fun for them and it is a good workout. As they play through the game they get access to more exercises and more challenges.

I have enjoyed this game so far. The "Adventure" part is quite cheesy and kid-y; however, you do get an actual workout from it (if you want to). For me, I can't exercise just to exercise; this gives me something to accomplish, while at the same time causing me to exercise. I think that I will continue the Adventure mode for a while, but I think that the mini games is where I will enjoy this game the most. And the con is the price. I think it is far too expensive for what you get. IMO, it should be the same price as any other game, even with the included ring and leg strap.

This game is suuuuper fun! I got this because of the pandemic and this is a great alternative! It really puts your body to work and it's always reminding you to not overextend yourself. Plus you can put an alarm to remind you that it's time to workout!

Fun fitness game. A lot more challenging than it looks. My first attempt was quite the workout for someone who hardly ever works out. Would recommend for a fun alternative to exercising.

Nintendo's done it again! MUCH more of a workout than Wii Fit/Wii Fit U. You'll get a pretty solid workout in if you play for 30+ minutes, for sure. I'm not one that gets sore often, and I was a little sore after my first session playing this. The combination of the ring with the leg strap is genius. Works great! Only complaint is that the ring "drifts" at times while jogging in place and the reset gesture doesn't always work right, which can in turn screw up some of the platforming. Minor issue. The game itself is very fun too. Very clever combining exercise with an RPG!

Bought this on sale as I was looking for something truly unique to the switch and also something to make my workouts a little more fun, and it delivered on both ends. Just be sure not to overdo it and pace yourself, those squats are rough at first!

It's a pretty good game overall and it can be a pretty fun way to workout. I've been playing for a little over a week now and my only complaint is that it can be a bit repetitive at times, but that's really no different than any other type of workout.

I’m in my mid forties and am not very active. This is surprisingly fun and going at a high enough level you can work up a good sweat. For some, this may be the only exercise they do. If that’s the case this is good in that regard. It’s never too much for an average person.

This game is amazing. Nintendo has done it again, they've found a fun way to combine gaming and being active. My kids absolutely love it! A great way to let them burn off excess energy especially during the winter months, I played for around 20 minutes and was wiped out.

Better than any of the Wii Fit games

I'm not someone who puts a lot of stock into body building or anything like that, but instead I wanted something that I could do in my spare time while I was at home without having to pay for a gym membership or pay for lessons with a trainer. For my purpose, this product is excellent. For starters, I was worried it was going to be boring like most of the Wii Fit games were, and while the game is very basic in it's core gameplay and the story isn't anything grand I found myself enjoying Ring Fit Adventure. Perhaps it's because I enjoy playing actin/adventure games as well as RPGs, or maybe it's because I'm one of those types of people that "gamifies" everything in life, meaning I try to live my life as if I were playing a video game. Let me elaborte a bit on that last part. Excercising is very important, but also difficult if you don't actually know what you're doing, and even if you do know what you're doing it can still feel like a chore. The game explains to you what each activity you are doing does for you in real life, and makes it easy to get a really productive workout in. That's fine on it's own, but for me the real reward is completing levels, defeating enemies, and doing boss battles. I'm not a full completionist in video games, but if I see a path that I missed or maybe see a platform that I wasn't able to get to on my first run through a level then I will try the level again to see if I can do better. I've been doing this even in Ring Fit Adventure, which means I'm working out even more than I would have originally and getting into better shape while doing it. I recommend this for people who like to gamify their life, or want a workout tool designed for them. There are multiple difficulties, and they are based on data collected from you during the initial set up of the game and hardware. It'll ask you to perform different actions so that it can gauge your personal fitness level. After that you can select the game difficulty. Hard is almost unbeatable, so maybe don't sweat that and go for something a little bit easier for your first playthrough. There is a LOT of jogging in place, so be mindful of your surroundings, and one thing I wish I'd known is that the game also has you performing exercises on the floor, so make sure to give yourself a lot of space to move around in. I knew there would be jogging but wasn't aware of how extensive the other exercises were.
