    Get the Warranty!

If you're buying this, GET THE WARRANTY! My Ring Fit died today 8/21/2020 - 2/8/2021, not even 6 months! This is why I'm docking a star because now I have to buy another one since it's just outside the warranty window. The reason I keep the rating high is because this may look like a kid's game, but let me tell you this is FAR from it. You WILL feel the BURN! If you use this to work out consistently, your muscles will be screaming and you WILL lose weight. My husband has already lost over 25 lbs using this game. I bought it for him, so I haven't used it nearly as much as he did, but I regret that decision because when we go mountain biking, he'll leave me in the dust since this game works legs A LOT! This game has a normal and a silent mode. We use the silent mode to not disturb the downstairs neighbors. In this mode you don't run in place like the normal mode, you squat up and down until you can't go down anymore. You WILL sweat buckets. This is probably the reason why the Ring Fit died on us, because of the sweat that would drip down on it, so again, GET THE WARRANTY! The main story is you have to defeat a body building dragon, Draganaux, by basically out performing him and his gym-equipment related minions, all the while gathering ingredients for your recovery drinks and buying new clothes power ups with the coins you collect while running/squatting, and defeating the bad guys. The Ring is an actual Ring character in the game which you team up with the collect the gems stolen by Draganaux. TL;DR Get the warranty. Game is fun. You will sweat and you will lose weight and tone your body if done consistently. Will kick adult's butt with the difficulty, so perfect for the whole family to exercise.

Did not think this would be as fun as it is, but also provides a great way to get active. Nice mini games to play trying to compete for high scores is fun also. Story mode is great with 5-10 mission structures to help stay consistent with exercises.

This game is really fun! The characters are very encouraging and helpful, and there are clear goals to strive for. The difficulty is set when you first start it, but you are free to adjust it anytime, as well as when you begin each session. The worlds are beautiful and wonderful to travel through, and the battles are fun as well! This game is great if you want to start exercising from the comfort of your own home and save a world in the process!

Getting into the habit of working out consistently is difficult, because you have to work out enough to MAKE it a habit in the first place, and then stay motivated on top of that. Ring Fit Adventure is a FANTASTIC way of doing just that. Integrating physical fitness into a fun, easy-to-pick up RPG adventure, you level up your character while leveling up your own healthy routines. RFA may not necessarily equate to a day at the gym, but it will absolutely get you going onto the right path of a healthier mentality. With the new music/rhythm workout and jogging activities that were recently added (plus the whole global pandemic thing), there's never been a better time to get some exercise in the comfort of your own home! I don’t think I’ve ever felt better about a purchase.

Never have I stuck with an exercise routine like with Ring Fit Adventure - it has an amazingly fun gameplay loop, and keeps things fresh with interval exercises. Nintendo finally cracked the code on how to make working out fun.

I recently surprised my wife with the Ring Fit Adventure, and it's been a game-changer for her fitness routine. She absolutely loves it, and I can see why. This innovative fitness tool has transformed her workouts from dull to dynamic, injecting excitement into every session. What sets the Ring Fit Adventure apart is its ability to blend gaming and exercise seamlessly. The vibrant graphics and engaging storyline make each workout feel like an adventure rather than a chore. My wife looks forward to her daily sessions, eager to embark on new virtual quests and challenges. The versatility of the Ring Fit Adventure is another highlight. With a wide range of exercises and activities to choose from, my wife can tailor her workouts to her preferences and fitness goals. Whether she's focusing on strength, cardio, or flexibility, there's something for everyone. But what truly sets the Ring Fit Adventure apart is its ability to make exercise feel like play. The interactive nature of the game motivates my wife to push herself harder, whether she's battling virtual enemies or exploring new worlds. It's incredible to see how much fun she's having while getting in a great workout. Overall, the Ring Fit Adventure has exceeded our expectations. Not only has it become an essential part of my wife's fitness routine, but it's also brought us closer together as we bond over our shared adventures in the virtual world. If you're looking for a fun and effective way to stay in shape, give the Ring Fit Adventure a try. You won't regret it.

I have not played Wii Fit or any of the previous Nintendo exercise games, so I can’t say if this is the best one, but so far I’ve been very happy with it. I’m not a gym rat, but I’m no couch potato either. I played this game on intermediate difficulty (not the easiest and not the hardest) and got my butt kicked. It’s definitely challenging if you want it to be. I’ve only done 15 minutes tonight taking turns with the rest of my family, and I’ve gone through the first world with my own profile. That’s another neat thing about this game, you can change profile in game without having to exit to home and restart game in new profile. However I think you can only change profile after completing a world. Anyway, I’m looking forward to playing 45 minutes nonstop on my own, and I think that would be very comparable to a workout session at the gym. I feel like with kids and grownups glued to TVs and video games nowadays this game at least gives the players some positive results. Is it the most fun Switch game? Definitely not. But it’s still a lot of fun and definitely beats going to the gym. My seven year old, who’s getting a little chubby, even wanted to keep playing, and he was sweating quite a bit after getting through world one in easy difficulty. Finally a game that I feel good about him playing! One thing I’ll say though is I don’t know how replayable this game is once you’ve gone through all the worlds. My family has only tried the adventure mode, and I think there are other modes that hopefully will keep this game fun for all of us for years to come. If you have a Switch and you have not tried this, I feel like you’re doing yourself a big disservice by not giving this game a go. This game is not cheap, but neither is gym membership, and everybody could benefit from more exercise.

This game really knows how to convince you to keep working out. It’s the most innovative game on the system, it uses an alarm function to remind you to work out even if the console is asleep, and they use the amazing gyroscopic sensors in the joy-cons to measure tension so they know how much force you’re putting in to your workout. The characters are cheesy, but fun and helpful in inspiring a reason to continue to exercise. It usually takes about an hour for me to get through a daily routine, and as you play you unlock more exercise actions and helpful advice on stretching and healthy dietary habits. A little pricey, but you can tell the amount of effort and love that went into this game is worth it once you begin your adventure.

I bought this for getting in at least a little exercise during covid-19 lockdowns, and it's been great at keeping me moving around. Workouts aren't crazy difficult until you get to higher difficulty levels, but very fun!

I’ve played this game along with my older daughter. She’s strives to play to go through the story and get some exercise. I’m playing to get fit. Even as someone who bikes to work often this can be. A pretty good workout and fun to boot.

I think we have had nearly every iteration of the Nintendo line between The Hubs and me through the years. Including the Wii, WiiU and now the Switch. Important fact coming up here...I absolutely HATE all forms of exercise. Well, when the Ring Adventure was announced I scoffed. I had less than zero intention of wasting my money for another exercise thing to collect dust next to my treadmill, weights, thigh master and some tummy cruncher thing. Then I got several Best Buy gift cards and had some rewards. Not enough to get anything BIG but something decent. I’d heard some reviews despite my best efforts and started to consider wasting other people’s money. Then on an whim I just popped in and bought it one day. Well, I hate to say it, but I’m up a creek. This silly game is addictive. I will conquer Drageux and I’ll move my poor sedentary body more along the way.

Awesome way to play video games while getting exercise at the same time. Me and my girlfriend, both age 28 and fairly fit, can get a great workout with this game. It's fun too. Highly recommend for any age.

This game is literally a workout! I know people don't like the repetitiveness in the early stages of the workouts available but if you put that aside and work on earning new workouts, you'll feel the burn.

I've always looked for excuses to exercise, and Nintendo provided that with this product. It gives you one heck of a workout for sure and is mechanically fun on top of that. Definitely worth it if you're concerned about your weight.
