Fun way to start the exercise routine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.People said doing 10 push-ups is not difficult, doing one is the most challenging part. It is very true. The Ring Fit allows you to select difficulty level, set daily exercise reminders, it has clear demonstrations for postures and exercises. It even warms you up before the exercise. It motivates me to get back on my exercise routines. I ask myself to do a couple Ring Fit exercises before playing other games. I enjoyed it but it might be too easy for people who are already training themselves. If you have multiple switches, it might sets confused while pairing the devices. But it’s not a unique problem to Ring Fit. We had the same problem with other games as well. Overall, I will recommend this product to others!

Great fitness adventure game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought into this game after trying and enjoying previous Nintendo games like Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus. This time around there is no balance board and the activities have you jogging in place and or going yoga stretching or other exercises that while they may seem easy can be challenging with repetition. While you are fighting you'll find that matching the color of the exercise with the color of the enemy will help net extra damage. While the game starts out easy you'll find that if you play for even 15 minute sessions that you will be able to get your heart rate up and likely break a sweat. The game offers different calibration settings so that if you find any one activity too challenging you can make it more doable. That said the main game I've heard offers around 18 hours or more of play, I'm roughly 3 hours in and feel like I'm only scratching the surface. As you progress you'll unlock new moves that work different muscle groups as you play. And then on top of that there are dozens of mini games that can be played in a group passing the ringcon around. Also of note is that game offers a variety of non-repeating warm up and cool down yoga stretches so that the muscles you work aren't left sore. While I wouldn't count this game as a full workout regime, it's not a bad supplement to any aerobic exercise you can do with it. I like to lift weights, run, and bike, and paired with this game it's a nice way to exercise without feeling you are exercising. For that I'd recommend it to anyone willing to give it a chance.

Way more fun than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been wanting a Wii Fit-type game for my Nintendo Switch but I kept waiting. (Arms was neat but not exactly what I was looking for and I never got into Fitness Boxing.) I went back and forth on getting Ring Fit Adventure because I feared the RPG-style. I eventually broke down and got Ring Fit a about a month after launch. I was and still am very happily surprised. Turning physical activity into a game is right up my alley. (I track my calories and successfully hit my weightloss goal, my watch keeps track of my steps, and I record my time and calories burned every time I use my elliptical.) And Ring Fit Adventure makes it quite rewarding. I started out using the easiest level but upped it to the next level. (I'm afraid of making it too hard and accidentally hating the game.) At first I felt silly running in place with a Joy Con strapped to my leg but it quickly felt good. There are coins everywhere and your hair lights up on fire when you're moving at a good pace. Nintendo has nailed the psychology aspect to make it rewarding. It took me a little while to care about the smoothie thing but once I kept losing to the boss named Dragaux in one of the worlds, I realized they were a necessary way to regain hearts. I also learned the benefit of the "Multitask Mode," which I think would be better called "Offline Mode." Basically, it's a way of using the Ring Con and getting points when you're not playing the game. I think the multitasking Nintendo is suggesting is that you can push in (or pull out) on your Ring Con while watching TV or doing something else around the house, whenever your Switch is off or in sleep mode. You can get up to 500 points at a time. For every 100 pushes or pulls, your Ring Con will make a slightly different sound, and once you hit 500, it'll play a quick tune to let you know you've reached your goal. I try to do this every day, even if I don't want to play the game that day. Once I hit my 500, I open to game to claim those points. (You can either send them to yourself, someone else who may have an account on your system, or even a friend whose profile you're connected to online who has the game.) I may not get to actually playing the game until the weekend and then it's nice getting all the coins, along with a bunch of smoothies and ingredients. Which are, as I said before, very helpful in beating Dragaux. I'm hoping the game is pretty deep and that I don't reach the end anytime soon.

You get a real workout with this
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected this to just be a casual game with some slight exercise elements. But you can really get a whole routine out of this. I can see myself losing some weight to this in the future.

Let's get physical!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a phenomenal workout tool! It is way better than Wii Fit was and that's mostly because of the Ring itself, which is a tension tool. It hurts my shoulders and arms and my legs even get sore! It started out easy but the more exercises you unlock, the harder it gets. What's nice is you can customize them so if it's too hard, you don't have to use it. You can also make it harder or easier in the settings, which seems to add more reps if you choose to make it harder. What's clever, too, is that it's actually a light roleplaying/action game in disguise! You basically fight Pokemon looking creatures using exercise and yoga poses! Who would have thought?! I HIGHLY recommend this game!!!
