This game is super fun. It will make you sore. It looks easy but it is an actual work out once you start.

Ringfit Adventure is a fun game you play by exercising, and it’s definitely worth playing if you want to do both at once.

This game is awesome. It will make you work up a sweat. If you can commit to this game at least 30 minutes per day for at least 5 days per week, you will meet CDC recommended requirements for moderate to vigorous activity. The game utilizes the ring peripheral to work out multiple muscle groups, and you can even get your cardio in while playing this game. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking to get more exercise in and cannot get to a gym because of the pandemic.

    GET FIT

I reviewed Fitness boxing and stated that that was not a replacement for workouts. This game though...works fairly well to replace SOME workouts. I think it works well for maintenance and just keeping yourself active. The Ring itself has technology that can give good resistance for people. The Joy con does great job tracking your leg as well when you need to run. So far the only issue I've had with this game is that the Leg Strap tends to slip off. Other than that, the game makes you sweat. It's also a fun game, where you forget you're working out and focus more on trying to beat up the enemy that's interrupting your run. If you are expecting a full jog with this game in Adventure mode, you will be disappointed. Adventure mode has a couple of running sequences, approximately 3-5minutes worth, the rest belongs to the "battles" where you do yoga, leg, and arm exercises. The game does have custom workout and minigames. These are great if you plan to work on specific parts on your body rather than letting adventure mode run its course.

This is a great game to help get people into fitness. I was not a very active person and wanted to try something new. I will say it is important to ease yourself into it as it can be intense quick and lead to injuries. It is very fun and a good way to keep active.

I was a little skeptical as i looked into this game, but figured between the whole family it'd be worth it... and it is! My 4 and 6yr old play it well (i have to read the dialogue, but they do the exercises) and its great for cold weather and rainy days. I used to be a lot more active than i am now and this game really pushes me. I love it. The story mode is absolutely linear and pretty basic, but it makes for a good "reason" to play. I highly recommend this game, especially for more inactive/busy people.

Game comes with the Ring-Con, the Thigh Strap and the game itself. It comes in a big box. The Ring-Con itself is similar to a Pilates ring, but it feels more sturdy. The handles are made of exercise foam and are washable. The same can be said for the thigh strap. The game does not use up much of the Joy-Cons' batteries since I have played 30 min/day for the past 7 days, and my batteries are still good to go. The game uses IR technology to measure your heart rate, but this is only after workouts and the IR tech is kind of finicky, so I wouldn't trust it entirely. In addition, the game only records exercise time for when you are doing the game's workouts. The same goes for calories. It has only been a week since I started playing this game, but it really does work up a sweat. Granted, I am not someone who is very physically active or goes to the gym very often. This is definitely an RPG first, exercise second kind of game. Yes, it forces you to do exercises in a fun manner. I like the idea of doing squats to defeat my enemies. Luckily, you're not stuck with the same exercises the entire time. As you level up, you get more access to other moves, and similar to Pokemon, you do not get unlimited access to your repertoire of moves in every battle. Don't worry if you live in an apartment. There is a "quiet" version of the running that is involved. It uses squatting in place instead. This game really helps you keep a good form while exercising, which is very important to ensure that you are working out the correct muscles in the most efficient manner. While Ring (the character's name for the Ring-Con) can have an annoying canned expressions at times, he/she/it is very good at giving you tips on your workout. Overall, this game isn't meant to replace your workout if you already work out. Rather, it can be used to supplement your workout as it is great for cardio. You can modulate your intensity level too. If you don't exercise very often, this game can definitely help you get active again and help you add some exercise into your day.

So my wife and I just used this for the first time tonight: I got my butt handed to me tonight! The game does an excellent job of reinforcing correct posture, staying hydrated, and taking breaks between workouts, but oh MAN do those workouts get ya. Doing just the first Chapter had me sweating something fierce, and the metrics weren't too far off from what my Versa 2 reported, which was a solid workout. Plus the "story" is mildly amusing enough to keep you motivated to keep going! Nice work Nintendo!

This is a pretty innovative little game. Takes up very little space when out of use, and sets up quick/easy. Snap one JoyCon into the ring, and use the included strap to stick the other on your leg, then you're all set. The ring is at a pretty good resistance that should work well for about everyone, and is calibrated per-user in-game. It also bends all the way in without feeling at all like it will break, so that's nice peace of mind. The leg strap could use some sort of rubberization on the inside or something to help keep it in place better, but it works well enough. Adventure mode mixes in some jogging and periodically has you choose between multiple exercises to attack enemies, while trekking through scenic environments. Light RPG mechanics and a silly story keep things interesting and help distract from the fact that you're....exercising. You learn more exercises as you go, and the nice variety can hit way more muscles that you'd expect out of a ring/legstrap. You level up, see different places, and even have a sidekick for the adventure. There's also a fitness instructor-type guy that gives you advice/guidance on your workouts. Workouts are adjustable, so it's pretty easy to find a level for some of us who kinda maybe never exercise. There are guided warm-ups and cool-downs for each session. There are also neat additions, like mini-games, heart-rate checking via controller, and even alerts you can set on the Switch that work while the console is off. Very nice product.

Bought this to get my body moving after being sedentary for too long and this game is a WORKOUT! Going on an adventure with a very encouraging partner (in the form of the ring you hold in real life) really helps me stick to my routine every day. Since starting this game, I feel like I have more energy and I feel less hungry at night. It's really improved my life! Pick this up if you don't want to go to a gym or can't afford expensive exercise machines, but you still want to keep yourself moving.

I am in love with this game! I wasn’t sure how it was going to be at first, but after trying it out for like about a week or more I can say that it’a amazing. With the world being crazy sometimes I just don’t wanna go to the gym and this game helps me out this days. I can just “play” the game and I’ll be exercising. The game works like an RPG where you’re meeting foes and defeating them while doing exercises. Sounds weird but it’s so entertaining and fun :)
