Nintendo has come a long way since the days of Wii Fit. This game is not only a great way to incentivise good fitness habits, but it also sends an unexpectedly poignant message about toxic workout mentalities. Worth the money 100%

Working out is hard, not only are you having to bust your butt physically you're having to motivate yourself & learn how to best work out. Ringfit does a good job of doing all of that for you. It motivates you via mechanics like leveling, items and such via the Adventure mode. You learn new attacks which are different workouts and most monsters after a point are weak to a certain color/attack types. So the game is super smart about using it's leveling & monster mechanics to disguise a work out regiment. If you aren't aware doing the same work out over and over, your body will get used to it and it'll become less and less effective. Besides monsters in the game for work outs, there's various challenges along the way that they work into it all. The instructions are done well & they do a good job to help you make sure you do things right & they repeat to help you along. The ring is well built, feels really sturdy, the second piece, the leg strap is probably the weakness here. You have to be careful how you start workouts that rely on only this. The planking move they have you do, laying on your elbows and pushing yourself up & down. It didn't seem to pick up my movements the first time but- making sure I started the workout FLAT as possible seemed to make sense. Look, if you're not sure how to work out properly & want to work into it safely & get a regiment of different moves taught to you and have it made as fun as possible? This is absolutely worth it. I can't stress how smart this game/workout set up is worth it.

Let's begin by saying I'm a semi active adult who works out at the gym one to two times a week. I was looking for a way to do fun exercises at home when away from the gym. A typical mission/world last 15 mins and ohh boy does it actually make you sweat. I went in confident and said let's do hardcore mode and wow I was exhausted at the end. Overall this game is one I can see people of all ages enjoying and using as a valuable exercise tool.

Pretty fun! This functions like an actual game with clear objectives that keeps the exercise fun and engaging. You can choose the difficulty based on options that reflect your actual physical ability and mobility. It wont be as hard of a workout as going to an actual gym, but it'll still get you sweating! I burned around 40-60 calories per level based on the game level and my difficulty choice.

I got this game more on a whim then anything else. I have never heard of Ring Fit Adventure before it came out until a friend was asking me if I was going to get it. I got it, thinking it'd be something fun to bring out at parties to just have a laugh over, plus anything that claims it makes working out fun is something worth checking out. The ring feels sturdy. Originally, when I saw that you would have to squeeze to shoot, I got scared that the ring wouldn't hold up. That doesn't seem to be the case. The ring can take a lot of abuse; much more then I am capable of giving it unintentionally. The game is hard. I mean, dripping sweat and panting after the first world, hard. The basic premise of the game has you doing different work outs to attack in a turn based RPG style combat, and when you aren't doing that, you are jogging in place to progress forward. The workouts are good, and will give you generally good advice to fix posture when it can (go lower, move slower, etc.), though, as expected, this isn't perfect. The workouts themselves range from difficult, to a nice break. For me, personally, doing leg lifts/crunches isn't too difficult a task, and can often just pump out way more then the game demands of me. But squats, on the other hand, are the bane of my existence. The big thing I will say for this game is that you have to want to work out. At least on some of the earlier levels, its not too hard to cheese some of the early combat so that you are doing "easier" work outs. If I wanted to, I can avoid doing squats altogether until something else gets tired, then rotate it out and do squats once before skipping it again.

This game is pretty fun and it gives you a good workout while making you feel like you're just playing a game. I got a port good workout from it. I would recommend staying with a low difficulty at first, I put it on hard and it kicked my butt.

Excellent option for a fun workout in COVID life. I was skeptical at first, but after 10 days of workouts, which have typically been 10-15 minutes a day, I'm a believer. I'm already noticing a difference in my upper body. Looking to throw something else into your home workout without losing a ton of space? This is a great addition to my house! I highly recommend it and would buy it again.
