The storyline is corny. There's no way around that. But this game is a new way to motivate my husband to workout regularly without any excuses. The game does a good job of gaging your difficulty level and setting it to your needs. I'm currently pregnant which the game does not accommodate for but I think this will help me get back into shape once baby comes.

Really fun game that will make you feel like you’re at the gym minus the membership. I love the RPG elements to the game and makes you want to just keep playing a bit more

Great way to exercise. I had been just walking, and this works on a lot of different muscle groups. You can do it as hard or easy as you want. You can really work up a sweat if you want. Keeps the exercise interesting. I used to use the Wii Fit, and this is so much better.

I used to go to the gym every day before the pandemic. This gives me an excellent workout in a short time, while at the same time giving me incentive to workout-- after all, we're fighting bad guys while working out! I average about 300 calories in 30 minutes. No issues with the Ring or the Joy Con that rests on the thigh.

It's a good workout game and helps with stretching and start on a journey to an active lifestyle. It prob won't help you loose so much weight, but it will help people get into an exercise routine. It has many options from jogging, back, arm, flexibility, and other exercises.

An awesome title! When uou reach the boss, he is working out! Fun and engaging! Reminds me of mario game, but instead of sitting down, you participate in movement! Surprisingly, it is physically challenging. Workout for about 30 minites and it doesn't even feel like it. A must!

Was what I expected. The plastic for the ring feels sorta cheap but to my surprise is really strong and provides a decent amount of resistance. Nothing crazy but by upping the difficulty in-game it gets more challenging due to the increase in reps. Lots of the in-game exercises are holding isometrics which is pretty creative on their part. Pros Fun, adjustable difficulty, creative gameplay Cons The tracking could get messed up depending on how you put the strap on your leg. (Sometimes over clothing it could slip making perfect movement hard) however, it is easily fixed Overall pretty fun to play. Great for the fam

Our family loves it. Dad uses it. The 4-year-old uses it. Everyone wants a turn. It adapts incredibly well to our extreme differences in size and skill level. I only wish we could all have fun at once. Regardless, it is a fun way to get some exercise in at home without the monotony that often goes with that.

I'm going on 7 days with this game, and I can honestly say that Ring Fit Adventure is one of the most legit workout video games I've ever played! I was initially worried it'd be like other games that promises the idea of getting fit, but doesn't do enough to keep you invested. But Ring Fit Adventure does everything right. The Adventure Mode (the main draw of the game) keeps things interesting by having you go through an RPG adventure while using fitness related activities to get through the journey. In the main stages, you're jogging in place to move your character down a track, while squeezing and pulling the Ring-Con to pull off various moves. Then, when you run into enemies, you do true-to-life exercises to defeat them (squats, planks, knee lifts, yoga poses, etc.). It's so engaging (and so hard to cheat) that I'm sweating by the end of a stage! And if you're not in the mood for that, there's both mini-games to keep things fun, and a way to set your own workout sessions, if there's any body parts you'd like to target. I don't think this game will 100% replace exercise elsewhere, but it's a great starting point for anyone looking to get into working out. It's also a nice supplement for those already on track with working out.

My wife wanted this for Christmas so naturally I bought it. I never thought much of any of these fitness games, but we both have been nothing but impressed by Ring Fit. We both have been using it for the last week regularly and it...packs a punch. We each sometimes take a day off due to soreness. The game absolutely can provide a legitimate work out. The Ring is fantastic in being both durable, easy to use, and offers a fair amount of resistance (my personal workouts are mostly weight lifting and could bench press 225lb+). I max out on the strength rating on the ring, but at no time do I feel like the ring will break, and the in-game adventure workouts are enough to make my arms tired. My legs and ab areas have been straight up sore after a couple of workouts. The game also offers side games and regular workouts arranged by muscle group, so playing the adventure isn't necessary if your looking for a quick workout. Like I said, I'm thoroughly impressed with the game and its effectiveness. I would absolutely recommend Ring Fit Adventure to someone looking for a game based way of working out at home.
