I’d been interested in this game since about the beginning of the virus shutdown. It was also starting to get hot so I couldn’t exercise as much outside. I searched Best Buy out of the blue and they had some in stock so I put in my order right away. The first day I received it was in the evening so I just set everything up (update, personal health information, and tried one level in the adventure. I sweat a little but didn’t feel sore after. The next day I planned to do a quick workout between my virtual meetings during lunch. Big mistake! I chose to increase the difficulty level by 2 based off the previous days trial workout. I also switched to silent mode as my wife and baby were sleeping. So when my lunch break started, I turned on the game and did the rest of the levels in World 1. I was sweating profusely and ended up not eating as I needed a shower before my next meeting started. Then the next day came and I was really sore. Had to really stretch my thighs. This game will give you a workout. Game itself: - Ring and leg strap are quality made. The leg strap is quite large so don’t worry if you have big thighs. - menu navigation is simple with the Ring - easy to setup with your health information - workouts vary and hit all muscle groups - game is engaging and you don’t really feel like you are working. Just be mindful to stretch extra after the game does their cool down stretches. You will be sore if you don’t. - the RPG aspect was brilliant. I even replay levels just to level up my character for the boss fights. - one of my favorite features is the ability to do arm presses when the game is off and the game keeps track. Once you reach 500 presses, you earn a prize. Highly recommend this for casual to more experienced athletes.

Ring Fit is more than an Adventure

Ring Fit is more than an Adventure it is gut busting. My family and I use this game to work out after meals it is a good way to get the family into shape. After the work out we are worn out, its fun and its tiring but finally their is a game that you can play to burn calories rather than sit back and gain them.

Ring Fit is a fun exercise game that also does happen to be a good workout. At least for a person of the lazier persuasion. Here are cool bits about this game I haven't seen many online reviews mention: you can set an alarm as a reminder to play that will go off no matter what you're playing and will use the ring light on the home button, you can just do set routines, you can also use the ring offline with a controller to add "experience" to your character, and there is a way you can jump into doing exercises without doing the RPG part of the game and without setting a routine. So far, I've only been playing the game. The Ring character does tend to talk a lot, but not too much. It's not as annoying as it could be. Usually it's just enough to get my breath back for another round. All round a fun and useful game.

We use to have the wii with the wii fit games. The console went bad. Thankfully it was outdated and couldn’t be replaced so we purchased the switch. Was hoping for some fitness games and boy does this go beyond fitting the bill for that. There is so much to choose from on this and you can customize it. The graphic are so much better then the old wii. It will give you a workout and still be fun. It keeps a tally of what you have done. Including time and calories burned. I have read that the calories burned is not accurate. But that doesn’t bother me. If you are looking for something to replace you old wii fit, go with a switch console and add this game to it.

I cannot recommend this game enough. Where Wii Fit was a fun diversion that ultimately had little in the way of actual fitness, Ring Fit Adventure manages to be both a great workout and so much fun. As someone who is prone to forego exercise in favor of video games, this is a great way to do both at once and be much healthier than I was before! A big highlight is how customizable it is. There are a wide variety of difficulties for people of all fitness levels, and a few settings to address disabilities or lack of space (I use the silent mode so I don't bother the other people in my building!) All things considered, this really is an amazing game. It's a classic case of Nintendo's ingenuity, and I look forward to playing it every day. If you're at all interested, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

This game is so much fun and is great for your avid fitness enthusiast. Don't let the 'fit' fool you, this game is great for most wellness enthusiasts. From stretching to yoga and intense cardio to muscle burning this game will keep your fitness and wellness engaged. One feature I really like that this game offer is the ability to let you create and curate workouts as you see fit. You can curate your own workout exercises and have routines so when you load up the game you are able to select specific workouts depending on what you need or how you feel. Adventure mode is great and although the game is not multiplayer friendly it does offer multiple profiles for other users so you may use to compete or track each others accomplishments. Definitely recommend it.

A little difficult for my 5 year olds, but it isn't recommended for them anyway. My 10 year old thinks it is fun and provides some movement when stuck inside. I set it up for myself and chose a challenge and it got me to work up a sweat while playing a video game. Pretty cool.

This game is very good for exercise! It's level up to train your body. Tabata, work out , Yoga...etc We whole family enjoy this so much! Somehow is a bit boring at the beginning but it got more exciting afterwards! If you need exercise at home, this one is not doubt to purchase!

I bought this right after the holidays. It sat in a box until we were quarantined. My 20 year old son and 16 year old daughter use this every other day. The game is fun for them and it is a good workout. As they play through the game they get access to more exercises and more challenges.

Fun fitness game. A lot more challenging than it looks. My first attempt was quite the workout for someone who hardly ever works out. Would recommend for a fun alternative to exercising.

This game is suuuuper fun! I got this because of the pandemic and this is a great alternative! It really puts your body to work and it's always reminding you to not overextend yourself. Plus you can put an alarm to remind you that it's time to workout!

I have enjoyed this game so far. The "Adventure" part is quite cheesy and kid-y; however, you do get an actual workout from it (if you want to). For me, I can't exercise just to exercise; this gives me something to accomplish, while at the same time causing me to exercise. I think that I will continue the Adventure mode for a while, but I think that the mini games is where I will enjoy this game the most. And the con is the price. I think it is far too expensive for what you get. IMO, it should be the same price as any other game, even with the included ring and leg strap.

This game is really fun! The characters are very encouraging and helpful, and there are clear goals to strive for. The difficulty is set when you first start it, but you are free to adjust it anytime, as well as when you begin each session. The worlds are beautiful and wonderful to travel through, and the battles are fun as well! This game is great if you want to start exercising from the comfort of your own home and save a world in the process!

I recently surprised my wife with the Ring Fit Adventure, and it's been a game-changer for her fitness routine. She absolutely loves it, and I can see why. This innovative fitness tool has transformed her workouts from dull to dynamic, injecting excitement into every session. What sets the Ring Fit Adventure apart is its ability to blend gaming and exercise seamlessly. The vibrant graphics and engaging storyline make each workout feel like an adventure rather than a chore. My wife looks forward to her daily sessions, eager to embark on new virtual quests and challenges. The versatility of the Ring Fit Adventure is another highlight. With a wide range of exercises and activities to choose from, my wife can tailor her workouts to her preferences and fitness goals. Whether she's focusing on strength, cardio, or flexibility, there's something for everyone. But what truly sets the Ring Fit Adventure apart is its ability to make exercise feel like play. The interactive nature of the game motivates my wife to push herself harder, whether she's battling virtual enemies or exploring new worlds. It's incredible to see how much fun she's having while getting in a great workout. Overall, the Ring Fit Adventure has exceeded our expectations. Not only has it become an essential part of my wife's fitness routine, but it's also brought us closer together as we bond over our shared adventures in the virtual world. If you're looking for a fun and effective way to stay in shape, give the Ring Fit Adventure a try. You won't regret it.

Nintendo's done it again! MUCH more of a workout than Wii Fit/Wii Fit U. You'll get a pretty solid workout in if you play for 30+ minutes, for sure. I'm not one that gets sore often, and I was a little sore after my first session playing this. The combination of the ring with the leg strap is genius. Works great! Only complaint is that the ring "drifts" at times while jogging in place and the reset gesture doesn't always work right, which can in turn screw up some of the platforming. Minor issue. The game itself is very fun too. Very clever combining exercise with an RPG!

It's a pretty good game overall and it can be a pretty fun way to workout. I've been playing for a little over a week now and my only complaint is that it can be a bit repetitive at times, but that's really no different than any other type of workout.
