The Black version of this Ring camera is perfect for my rented bedroom. The camera blends in with the monitors and other electronics on my computer workstation desk. I forget the camera is there most of the time. Video visibility is high quality in a light or dark environment. The motion and record controls are easy to set with the Ring Mobile App, so I just deactivate the camera before I enter the room. You can also set up scheduled modes, too. Video is easily retrieved and deleted from the Event History interface button. I am extremely happy with my purchase and my basic subscription for recording events.

Love my cameras, had them for over 4yrs no problems

Started off with the ring doorbell and quickly expanded adding cameras to the interior of our home. Ring uses an excellent app that’s constantly being upgraded with new features. No problems with Wi-Fi connectivity or battery life since mine is hard wired to the transformer of my previous doorbell. Motion detection, night view camera, and video quality are good. The only suspect area is the audio quality when communicating over the system. I also have the Ring chime which in my opinion is a must. There is a minor fee for maintaining your video feeds after the 30 day free trial. The fee is insignificant for what you’re getting.

This device is very small and easy to set up. I used this ring camera while staying at an Airbnb for extra security while I was out and about to keep an eye on my belongings. Perfect to view live feed on my iPhone and records motion right to the ring app. Video Quality Is good and able to see faces with detail.

Very easy to set up and use. Out of the box, only took minutes to start using the camera. I also really like the Ring Neighborhood feature that keeps you informed of happenings in your community. video is very clear and notifications are immediate when motion is detected.

Reasonable price and very easy setup. Video quality is good and app fairly has any issues. Overall a great buy for setting up video cams for the pets.

Easy simple to use. Have 8 of them. One of them broke for unknown reason but we do have kids and so that might’ve been the problem. It just stopped connecting.

My wife and i both work and we bought this Ring camera to monitor our house and it has been great. Good quality video and gives us both peace of mind. Definitely a good buy!

Decent entry level security cam for the Ring system. I have a few of these and am able to monitor each room in my house.

Good build with good video quality. Sound is spotty sometimes. Has lots of settings that will help you set up to your liking.

Excellent video quality. I have in my garage, to make sure garage door is closed. Would definitely buy more of these. Very small. Most people would not even know the camera is there.

No complaints whatsoever. The baby monitor that we received at the baby shower started having issues after a year so bought this as a replacement. Works like a charm.

First and foremost, its the least expensive camera Ring has produced. I have the Doorbell Pro, and the floodlight camera watching the front and back of my house, so was excited to see a cheaper option to put one in my garage. The camera itself is incredibly small, almost the size of the ring doorbell itself. Setting it up was a breeze if you already have a Ring device. Took me 15 minutes to get the camera up and running and added to my existing Ring app. The video quality is on par with the other devices in the daylight. No complaints about that. The night vision however, seems like it has some issues. I've noticed that anything on the top of the screen comes off blurry and out of focus in night vision. I haven't experienced that with other ring cameras, and may be due to mounting the camera high on the wall and it having an issue keeping everything in focus. I know they increased the viewing angles on this model, so it may also have to do with that.

Nice camera works good! I just don’t like that it has to always be plugged in. I guess I could have spent more and got the wireless one, but this one does just fine.
