I really like the smaller size. Having an inexpensive indoor only option has allowed us to move the other Ring camera to the patio. More cameras, more coverage, more safety and security.

It was super easy and fast to install. I have a disabled child who needs extra monitoring so these cameras are perfect for my home. I can monitor for medical emergencies even when I’m in bed, I have been given such pease of mind by adding these cameras.

I can reach my kids where ever I am . It’s good but it’s speaker is not that good . Can’t hear clearly that’s the only bad about it others it’s good ..

The features and technology provided by the Ring Indoor Cam (1st Gen.) are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the audio and video quality concerns you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to both video quality and audio. We are happy to share some tips with you for troubleshooting why your Ring device may be experiencing issues with video quality and may be producing poor audio.
If your phone or tablet has poor service or internet, it could be affecting "Live View" or your video downloads. Try turning Bluetooth off, then open "Live View" or view a recorded Ring video.
Poor wifi can often cause Ring device issues, including video quality and capturing audio. We recommend following these steps in the Ring app: Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your Ring Indoor Cam (1st Gen.). Tap "Device Health." Under the "Network" section, you'll see your device's "Signal Strength." If your "Signal Strength" (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi. Try moving your wifi router closer to your Ring device.
Open "Live View" in the Ring app and see if your Ring device's microphone is enabled. Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your Ring Indoor Cam (1st Gen.). Tap the "Live View" button. Check to make sure the microphone icon is enabled. You can also press the green phone icon. If you have a Ring Home subscription, you can view the recording to see what the audio sounds like.
Check your audio privacy settings. You may have your audio settings turned off for privacy reasons. Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your Ring device. Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Privacy Settings." Make sure "Audio Streaming" and "Recording" is enabled.
Reboot your Ring Indoor Cam (1st Gen.) by following these steps: Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your Ring device. Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Device Health." Scroll down and tap "Reboot This Device." Wait a few minutes for your device to reboot.

I love the color and it goes well with my daily needs to keep everyone protected inside my home. The alerts are fabulous as I am a control freak and have to know what to look for when it alerts me! I live alone so it gives me extra security and peace of mind. I like that I can see and communicate using my stick up cameras. The picture quality is pretty clear

The process was easy with the purchase on the Best Buy website. It was offered at a fair price and arrived quickly in 3 days. The camera was new in an unopened box and was simple to install. It works great for security purposes. I would highly recommend.

I have a fire escape, and my home was broken into. The purchase of the ring camera has brought about a since of security for me and my family. I can watch my home whenever I am at as well as when I am away. The images and voice recorders are very clear. I am pleased with this product.
