The only flaw is the blue light is there's no option to disable the blue light on the actual camera that displays when the camera is recording.

Because I don’t have a hard-wired doorbell and the wireless Ring doorbells are commonly reported stolen in my area, I opted to put an indoor camera pointed out my front window. While the wired version of this product is an eye-sore from the inside, I like the comfort of not worrying about battery power.

Problem is that there is no way to get the video recorded for free, they want to sell you a service for that. If I have a bunch of home network storage (which I do), then they should offer the ability to record to my NAS storage...but I don't see the option...that's a bummer, because you know that everyone wants free recording and many of us have the NAS to do so...so just give it to us!!!

A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.
