Great little camera for security

Night vision is really good, however if you enable smart motion for people it might not pick them up if they are far away while regular motion would. I would like to see an option that includes a backup battery with temporary local storage if the internet and power would go down.

Camera has good picture, but...

However, Ring software via net, dashboard, etc. leaves a lot to be desired. Viewing remotely via smart phone, site or something constantly locks-up, or pushes you out to dashboard when trying to view camera. This happens all the time regardless of wifi signal strength. If in rush to view activity at front door or other area, forget it, takes too long to finally get the camera locked in for viewing.
