While the video could be higher quality, overall, the functionality of this device is very fitting for the cost. We use the device at night and when we are gone and every things works like a charm, including catching the cats as they prowl about in the evening!

Use it for inform recording and to see when my kids are back from school or what they are doing and works as security camera at nights. Great clarity and recording. I feel it is little expensive compared to blink camera but still ring wins over it.

Great except for one thing

I don’t want to a camera constantly taping the inside of my house. I would like to send it so it only tapes when I am not there. I don’t think this is possible with the current version. Other than that, great sound, great picture, great interface.

Based on your review, it appears that you want to be notified of motion only when you are not at home.If this is the case, we recommend adjusting your motion schedule. The Motion Scheduling Feature allows you to schedule periods of time when you do not want to receive motion alerts. If, for example, you know that the trash is picked up every Tuesday between 7:30 and 7:45 AM, you may want to shut down motion alerts during that time. ONLY thing I don’t like, is I wish it had the “hawk” feature.. where the camera would follow the motion.. but no complaints overall.
