    With this camera I leave home with some piece of mind. I can monitor the house from wherever I am. It tells me if somebody has entered with an alarm. It is great.

    All ring cam need RSSI -30 below without laggin if connect to home WiFi or need a chime pro RSSI -55 below, otherwise will be laggin and delay or unload live view, the only issue is what I don’t like it can’t turn off the cam

    I purchased the camera as a test to see how it is. so here is my opinion & keep in mind, this is my 1st security camera. its very responsive & the picture is OK. talking through it is ok too but sometimes my wife claims she could not understand what I'm saying. even though it says 1080P its very hard to see peoples faces & car plates (its in my garage). it has a quick response time which I'm surprised because I read a lot of reviews claiming it doesn't start record fast enough. maybe its because this one has a power cord & its for inside only! Also, if you want to save any of your recordings, it can only be done by Ring service which you have to pay (monthly or yearly). its not expensive but I'm surprised that it does not have the capability to save data to a hard drive that's connected to the network. I would recommend this device for watching kids at the house but not as a security camera, cant see how this would be helpful.

    I just want to say Best Buy Management stinks in Huntsville, Al. You may see me say this many times since we purchased from them many times before and was treated poorly and won’t buy there anymore.

    I highly recommend these indoor wireless cameras. You can see what is going in your home if you have elderly parents or pets while you are not home. Highly recommend.

    Gets the job done for what I needed. I just put this in my second living room and turned off motion alerts. It’s just to check on my dog. Only downside is it doesn’t have a 360 panning feature. Come on ring so many of us want that!

    Only and the only thing with this is motion detection has to be off not to get chimed every other minute of you keep it plugger in We have the chime off but not like best it sends notification when I’m away from the house I need to figure this more

    The colors are awesome and the two way talk is very good too. Range and wide could be better even if Ring needs to sell it a little higher. However as it is, the price conformed, and it does the job and well. You should always have at least two of these you will like it.

    A bit to sensitive for me. I left it on and it literally picked up the tv screen savers while it's sleep. I kept getting alerts thinking someone was in my room.

The features and technology provided by the Ring Indoor Cam (1st Gen.) are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.

      It sounds like you have some concerns with the motion detection of your device. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is picking up too much motion, we recommend lowering the "Motion Sensitivity" under the "Motion Settings" tab. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This also includes changing the "Motion Frequency" to "Regularly" or "Periodically" in the Ring app.

      Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling the "Smart Alerts" feature for people only in your Ring app. To enable "Smart Alerts", please follow these steps:
      Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
      Tap "Devices."
      Tap the device that you want to adjust.
      Tap "Motion Settings."
      Tap "Smart Alerts."
      Tap "Enable Feature."
      Tap "Continue."
      Select the notification options that you want for "Person" and "Other Motion."
      You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
      After you've adjusted your settings, tap "Done."

    My husband put this up on the back wall of his garage. It is a large garage and this camera shows the whole garage, except for the bench right below it. Easily connected to our existing ring cameras. No complaints.

    It looks good and works great but I returned it for the smaller version. I initially thought you could stick this on the wall. You know like the command strips but u had to drill it or something. Too complicated for me. I returned it for a smaller version.
