I am happy with the camera concept, yet I am not happy with Ring since I was told from the beginning no subscription needed if you keep the videos for seven days. After my purchase of two cameras I got only 30 days free Recording. After that you have to purchase a subscription to keep your videos!!!

I'm not sure of the other security cameras. But I had few issues with ring indoor. 1 blue led can be seen 2. When facing camera on pointed at an outside window, you can see bright light and reflection of everyone inside the house. Overall the ring indoor camera is great device

Only issue is that it senses light changes as movement. At first it kept going off as the sun moved through the trees. I think it just needs periodic adjustment.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If your camera gets disconnected from the router, e.g (power outage or router power goes off) IT WILL NOT RECONNECT ON ITS ON. YOU WILL HAVE TO PHYSICALLY UNPLUG THE CAMERA OR GO THROUGH THE INITIAL SET UP PROCESS. So if you are far away from home and if you have a power outtage and your wifi goes out (and your camera will probably go out since it has no batteries) it will not reconnect on its own, you will have to physically do it yourself. ALSO, if your camera loses power or connection YOU WILL NOT GET A PUSH NOTIFICATION. So when you so happen to look at your Ring app and see your camera has been off for hours, that is the reason!

If your power goes out or your home wifi network goes down, depending on how long your Indoor Cam has been disconnected from the network, your Indoor Cam should reconnect on its own without you having to manually reset it each time. If it does not, here are step by step instructions for reconnecting your device. A few things before we get started:
* You will need to be in the same location as your Ring product to do this
* You will only have access to this option if you are the "Owner" of the device. If you are a "Shared User" the "Owner" of the Ring product will need to reconnect it to the wifi network
To do this, navigate to Device Health for any Ring product that is offline by selecting the product in the main dashboard of the Ring app, then selecting Device Health. Once you're on the Device Health screen, select Reconnect to wifi and follow the in-app prompts.
