It seems the ring devices work great for the first couple of days but after.l that it is hit and miss when it correctly operates. I can walk past this thing three times and itll notify my each time one day and the next after walking passed it 3 times it will only notify me once.

With motion detection, it's important to review your Modes settings and ensure you have not turned motion detection off in a specific Mode. Additionally, make sure your Indoor Cam has a strong wifi signal https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Checking-Wifi-Signal-Strength. A weak or unstable signal can impact the Indoor Cam's ability to detect and notify you of motion properly.
