    I use a lot of Ring products and this one is good, but the two-way speaker/mic is not effective. The device receives a great WiFi signal but when talking to the device, the speaker doesn’t sound good and is almost not understandable. The view through the app shows a good video quality but not great (heavily pixelates when zooming in).

      If you are experiencing poor audio or video quality during a live view, but your recordings are fine, this can be caused by either a poor connection between your mobile device and the cloud servers, or a connectivity problem between the Ring device and your router. In rare cases, however, this can be caused by settings in your router.

    Good camera, sometimes when I leave for a few days it says not connected to network and doesn’t reconnect until I get back so that defeats the purpose but otherwise it’s good any other time.

The Indoor Cam is a smaller next-generation security camera specifically designed to be used indoors to bolster the security around your home. This device also features 1080p full HD resolution, two-way audio, HD video recording, and a wide viewing angle. Please know that it is a priority for us to be of assistance and find a resolution to your concern.

      After reading your review, it seems that your indoor camera is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. For optimal performance, since your router and modem are usually the hardest-working devices in your house, you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:

      Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).

      If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.

      Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.

      Wait for your internet to be restored.

    You get a 30 day free trial after that you’ll need to pay for a subscription to store videos and such. Not sure though if any type of temporary storage is done on any activity that may transpire without subscription. Would be nice if these would upload to a personal cloud outside of RING (iCloud, OneDrive, etc.) but again I’m very new at this so I wouldn’t know.

      Ring gives customers a complimentary 30-day trial with each new Ring device. After the 30-days, you can choose if you would like to purchase a Ring Protect Plan or not. A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan, you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.     So disappointed in these cameras since I like the ring doorbell so much. The cameras are garbage in the dark unless you buy the spotlights for each camera. Indoors you must leave lights on for cameras to see anything. I hooked the camera up went on vacation and in 1 day camera was knocked off WiFi. Cameras only , everything else on WiFi worked. A monthly fee or yearly fee of $30 per camera is needed to keep recordings.o, think about getting out a ladder in the cold winter to take batteries out to recharge? Overall would not recommend!

For our consumers, we want to ensure that you are notified of who may be near your door at all times. Rest assured, we are still here to help you resolve your night vision concerns and ensure you have a security device you can rely on.

      Certain models of Ring devices have a night vision feature that allows you to see through the camera in low light conditions. By using infrared light, the camera can create a black and white image that is then beamed to the Live View in your app. By turning the color night vision feature on, the camera will use whatever ambient light is available to try and create a "false color" image in your Live View. This lets you get a better sense of what’s happening in the image by creating a false sense of color depth.
