    When initially bought the camera it worked fine and was an easy setup. Now the camera is not working and will most likely have to replace. Unhappy with this but other camera is working great but this one only lasted two months.

The Indoor Cam is a smaller next-generation security camera specifically designed to be used indoors to bolster the security around your home. This device also features 1080p full HD resolution, two-way audio, HD video recording, and a wide viewing angle. Please know that it is a priority for us to be of assistance and find a resolution to your concern.
      After reading your review it seems that your Indoor Camera is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest working devices in your house, for optimal performance you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:
      Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).
      If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
      Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
      Wait for your internet to be restored.

    This is OK but paying for a subscription service is ridiculous in the first place and this goes off when the cat walks on the floor I have the zone set but the cat still sets it off What I recommended yeah but to hear this go off in the middle of the night because of my couch no

      Ring gives customers a complimentary 30-day trial with each new Ring device. After the 30-days, you can choose if you would like to purchase a Ring Protect Plan or not. A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan, you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.     Was great for six months...

    We loved this camera for the first six months but when we moved to a new home, we placed it in a window that stares down the entrance of our home. At night, it just reflects on the glass window and shows itself on the recording. It worked fine before, not sure why it isn't working now.

Please know that we take your peace of mind and sense of security very seriously and we are here to get this taken care of for you.

      Based on your review, it seems like you are unable to use your Ring Indoor Camera behind a window. Windows generally block heat sources, which means when the Ring device uses PIR (Passive Infrared) to detect motion, the Ring device will not be able to detect the motion through a window. There are a couple of scenarios when this can happen:

      During the day, your powered Ring device uses Advanced Motion Detection, which is when the camera looks for changes physically in the environment. The Ring device should be able to see through a window during the day.

      At night, your powered Ring device still uses Advanced Motion Detection but also uses Passive Infrared (PIR) to verify the motion. Since windows block heat sources, your Ring device will not be able to accurately view or record through a window at night.     So far it seems to be working okay originally I had the Logitech version of security cameras it was very simple and easy to use this one seems to have a hard time loading the live camera and sometimes everything just turns into a pixelated mess

      We understand the importance of being connected to live events in the moment. If you have recently received a notification on your mobile device or if you have gotten a blurry screen along with a message that the Ring App is having trouble connecting to the Ring device, this can be attributed to wifi connection. The three most common causes of this problem are the following:

      * A poor connection between your mobile device and the internet
      * Slow internet upload and download speeds
      * A poor connection between your Ring device and your router.

      If your signal is poor or very poor, this can be caused by the distance between the router and your Ring product, the layout of your home, or the materials in your walls.     Works, just wish it had a heavier base. Very cheap and light weight. The thin cord is a hassle. When you try and change the angle, the stiff cord pulls it around. Wont stay. Will have to use putty.

I'm glad to hear your Indoor Cam is working well for you, but I understand wanting to find an easy and secure method of installation.You can try securing the cord using zip ties or hooks, depending on where you have it installed.
