    So far it seems to be working okay originally I had the Logitech version of security cameras it was very simple and easy to use this one seems to have a hard time loading the live camera and sometimes everything just turns into a pixelated mess

      We understand the importance of being connected to live events in the moment. If you have recently received a notification on your mobile device or if you have gotten a blurry screen along with a message that the Ring App is having trouble connecting to the Ring device, this can be attributed to wifi connection. The three most common causes of this problem are the following:

      * A poor connection between your mobile device and the internet
      * Slow internet upload and download speeds
      * A poor connection between your Ring device and your router.

      If your signal is poor or very poor, this can be caused by the distance between the router and your Ring product, the layout of your home, or the materials in your walls. Our Ring Chime Pro may be a good fit for you and your network environment. We would love to improve this for you once and for all.     The camera and the Ring service is very good. The problem is that after the free period (30 days or so) your cameras will stop recording unless you pay the $30 per year for each camera, or $100 per year for an unlimited number of cameras. Had I known this, I would not have bought their products. I have another camera that does not charge me for recording, it is a Tend camera. I don’t like the Ring model, because it’s my camera and I want to record to my phone. Anyway, just my opinion.

We want to ensure that we can answer any questions you may have concerning how the Ring Protect Plans work and how to save/share your videos, when necessary.

      Ring gives customers a complimentary 30-day trial with each new Ring device. After the 30-days, you can choose if you would like to purchase a Ring Protect Plan or not. A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan, you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.     Works, just wish it had a heavier base. Very cheap and light weight. The thin cord is a hassle. When you try and change the angle, the stiff cord pulls it around. Wont stay. Will have to use putty.

I'm glad to hear your Indoor Cam is working well for you, but I understand wanting to find an easy and secure method of installation.You can try securing the cord using zip ties or hooks, depending on where you have it installed.     The dog triggers this constantly. Its great to get an update of the dog but it doesn't work for me. I may try an outdoor to see if that works better. Video quality is good however.

      Customizable motion zones are featured in all of Ring's AC-powered products, which allow for a fuller feature set and greater degree of customization. This system’s customization options let you draw up to three areas in the camera’s view to detect motion in. These "motion zones" allow you to define a specific area that you want your Ring to cover, while ignoring everything outside that area. By drawing your motion zones to exclude high-frequency areas such as public paths and roads, you can reduce the number of "false positive" motion notifications (such as cars driving by) and greatly increase the effectiveness of your Ring device.

    Ring camera has ok image quality and speed for connecting. However without the paid subscription, it's nothing more then a motion sensor.

    This is only good if you are trying to set up security cameras inside your home and near an outlet. We tried to use it facing outside but the window makes it hard to use for night time. If you only want it for inside it is a good product.

      Windows generally block heat sources, which means when the Ring device uses PIR (Passive Infrared) to detect motion, the Ring device will not be able to detect the motion through a window.

    I just receive this and set up yesterday, came to work today and logged on to view my mom and all the app is doing is circling and saying activating device, went to support and they told my I could purchase a chime that would make the signal stronger, well that is another $49.00, So mad !! mom has dementia and being unable to see her results in me leaving work, I need a reliable device and this is not one !

    Its good, but I have another, non Ring camera for the same price that actually moves. The range of this thing is decent at best. If you have an existing Ring infrastructure, its worth it. Otherwise, I'd go with something else.

    Worked well at first now cuts in and out just like rest of my Ring cameras the voice going out and in are breaking up. I haven’t used any other types to compare but I’m guessing life of one is about a year because that’s all they seem to last for me.
