    Bought this for when the dog sitter comes while on vacation. I’ve turned it off. Maybe there is a way to only turn it on when away on specific days, but I sure can’t figure that out. Just annoying

We completely understand the relevance of having your device up and running, as this ensures you can access the camera to check on activity around your home anytime day or night. We’d love to provide you some tips to ensure your device is consistently connected to your network.

      Although they are rare, disconnects do occur and can usually be traced back to nearby interference or underlying network issues. Both of which are easily resolved with a few changes. A common solution to most network related problems is creating a guest network. You could then pair the Ring Indoor Cam to the guest network to ensure the device remains online. Another thing to consider is wifi interference caused by nearby objects or materials. Things such as brick, metal, or stucco can diminish the wifi signal as it travels to your doorbell. Do you happen to have your doorbell mounted on any of these surfaces?

      If you are experiencing poor audio or video quality during a live view, but your recordings are fine, this can be caused by either a poor connection between your mobile device and the cloud servers, or a connectivity problem between the Ring device and your router. In rare cases, however, this can be caused by settings in your router.

    It is from the ring and the Co. ring is bad never call or by anything from them. Ring - Indoor Cam you have to have motion off all the time or it goes off so it ok if not in the home. This is mad good I did not know at the time you can get the same without AC in Wifi

    Not worth the money

    Had it only 3 days and the speaker went out on it. Then 2 days later it wouldn't care nnect to my wifi any more. One thing they should change on the app also is have a schedule time to start motion recording not just scheduling for notifications not to come in and still always record.

    Terrible product.. connects to the WiFi the first time. Then cycles looking for the WiFi afterwards and tells you that your WiFi isn’t working don’t waste your time. Swapped out for blink cameras zero issues.

    negative star- the Ring customer service is horrible. The plug cord does not reach. I am returning these and hoping for battery operated ones. Cannot do anything about the crappy Ring cs, hopefully the product is good.

    Never connected the camera

    Stopped in the middle of camera hook up. The connection process is very simple. Never completed connections due to nation wide security breach by hackers. I returned both cameras back to best by.

    Even though is connected to my WiFi, it constantly loses connection. If you try to look at your recordings, it just spins and tells you you have to reconnect.

      If you haven't already, please use the 'Test Your Wifi' feature through the Ring app. This can help find and resolve any underlying issues that need to be addressed.

      To find this feature, please open the Ring app, and then tap on the menu in the upper left-hand corner. Select 'Devices' and then navigate to your Ring Indoor Cam. Tap on the 'Device Health' option and scroll to the bottom. You'll see a 'Test Your Wifi'option.

    Was fine at first but after a couple weeks, it just drops network and have to reconnect for some reason. Pain in the butt. I might just have a lemon. The ring doorbell has no issues and is much further from wifi.

      After reading your review, it seems that your indoor camera is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. For optimal performance, since your router and modem are usually the hardest-working devices in your house, you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:

      Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).

      If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.

      Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.

      Wait for your internet to be restored.

    Stopped working the second day we got it. Didn’t realize we only had 14 days to return and now we’re stuck with it and the company is hard to reach to get a warranty replacement

      If your device is not responding, please try a hard reset. To do so, ensure the device is plugged into its power source. Press and hold the set-up button for 15 seconds, then release. Indoor Cam will complete its reset within a minute or two. You'll know it is ready when it enters set up mode.

    These were absolutely terrible. Of the 8 I purchased, 1 worked. The others never made it passed the setup and froze or died on me. I would not recommend these to anyone.
