The peace of mind was so great and being able to talk to them it was awesome. I think everyone needs this especially if you have pets and go to work. The peace of mind is worth it

Pretty clear otherwise otherwise, tho clear faces= no. So that's too bad and it's dry closest but a few ft of the sidewalk. Con. Doesn't matter what the setting, either my trees set still it off. people ( which i want, ( but too vehicles, which i want) since i want people, vehicles don't come up. So to be clear reg motion constant moving trees, people, vehicles. Last 2 is obviously the needed Set for people: only get people, but i need vehicles. And getting hundreds upon hundreds of leaf movements is unacceptable. Help

The Ring Indoor Camera uses infrared motion capturing to detect motion, within its field of view. You can use the Ring app to determine the Indoor Camera's motion detection range and the specific zones where motion will trigger a smart alert. These settings help ensure that the Indoor Camera will capture the events you want to see and ignore the ones you don’t. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 4 of these cameras and I have tried to setup 2 of theses cameras and neither will not come on. My internet is on and so is the Chimes and they will not come on for me to connect to either. I will try to setup these cameras at another of my location and if they don't come on I will return them back to the store for a refund. I have other Ring cameras and they are working fine.

There are several possibilities that could be causing your device to not come on. Check the following items:
Try another outlet. The one you’re using may be faulty or associated with a light switch.
Make sure the Micro-USB cord is securely attached to the port.
Press the reboot button.
Use the reboot feature from the Ring App if you are not located near the camera.

Unusable without subscribing to their “RingPro”

Ring gives customers a complimentary 30-day trial with each new Ring device. After the 30-days, you can choose if you would like to purchase a Ring Protect Plan or not. A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan, you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.
