Love the camera, but hate the RING system. I also bought 2 RING doorbells. If you don't pay a yearly subscription, it doesn't record at all, only notifies you of movement. The subscription is $50/yr for 1 or $100/yr for more than 1 device. There is a monthly plan too that is more expensive. For the price, it would be nice if their products recorded and deleted after 24 or 48hrs without paying extra. There is another product that does this. I will be switching mine out to those instead of buying more RING products. The camera itself works well. The picture is clear and it reacts to motion effectively.

I like this camera. Recording video through a clear window at night is very good. Recording through a window with a screen is ok. Recording video over wide angle and depth is very good. I like the motion setting for persons or cars. I like the default zones. I dont like that changing the default zones beyond a certain point is very difficult. The are 8 dots on the sides , which are difficult to move. I called Ring, rep suggested using the motion wizard. It is less challenging when using the wizard, still hard. Overall, this camera is a very good product. The $50price is reasonable

I like having continuity when it comes to my smart home devices. Being able to have my inside camera and doorbell on the same app and all connected to Alexa is key. Easy to set up and provides great pictures.

This was perfect for what I needed. I purchased this to use as a sort of baby monitor for my toddler when it was time for the crib to go and hopping out of bed became an option. It connects to the Ring app so you can watch from wherever you are, and it notifies you when there is movement. You can close the cover to turn it off and just open it up to start it back up again, so I never feel weird about it being there when it's not needed. You don't have to just trust that it's off and no one can watch. (Maybe that's a me thing, but it gives me peace of mind.) Another nice feature is the ability to share with other Ring users. It's great for me because when I'm at work, I can peek in at the aforementioned toddler periodically, and so can whoever's home if they want to check or if there is movement. You can also see when someone else has viewed it live. I've heard a lot about peoples' baby monitors getting hacked, and this just seems like a safer option and is cheaper than the video monitors that actually are secure. You can also talk through it if you want.

Bought this camera because one of our cats was peeing on our new couch and we wanted to catch him in the act. Thanks to the Ring camera, the offender has been...dealt with. (He apparently had kidney stones and we put him on a special diet, so he's fine now.) Clear pictures, even in low/no light conditions, great motion detection. Would definitely buy this camera for non-cat pee-related reasons.

This ring device is beneficial if you want to check up on children or pets. There is no installation; you must plug the device into an outlet. Then, set it up in the app, and you are ready. It is a great device, especially for that price. Also, it includes a cover for when you do not wish the camera to record.

This indoor camera has been a great addition to our home. The video quality is clear, the night vision works well, and setup was quick and easy. I like that I can check in anytime from my phone and receive motion alerts when needed. It gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m away.

I'm pleasantly surprised by these cameras. I wasn't too optimistic about how well they would work but they have proven me wrong. The picture is great, they pick up all the motions I want them to, I can adjust the area and the two way audio is great. They were also very easy to set up. I will definitely be buying more!

Let me preface my comments by saying that I already had a Google Nest Camera in our home, and I was looking at adding two more indoor cameras to cover blind spots (inside our Garage which have side windows, but I noticed they weren’t attached to our home alarm so someone could break in and vandalize our vehicles) and our home office (upper level which also could be accessed without being noticed if someone went out back and got on our roof). When we have guests, our home office can also double as an extra bedroom, so I was concerned about placing a Nest camera in there as the only way to block it’s vision is tape of other item (i.e,) sock. We have a Ring Doorbell, so I checked and discovered they also have an indoor cam (as Amazon also hawks a cheaper version) with a privacy cover, and these cams also sync with my Ring app so now I can see multiple video shots. These worked so well, I bought 2 Ring Spotlight cams for outside to replace two floodlights (garage and facing our pool).

Really like this ring doorbell, easy to set up and the video footage is awesome. Would recommend to anyone needing one. put it on my front door and I can check it anytime live and see whats going on!!

This camera works great! It was a wide field of view and has night vision which activates on its own. It’s easy to set up as well and the footage is good.

The camera was perfectly priced small and easy to set up. I use it indoors to monitor my basement activity. Every now and then it does go offline but quickly resets itsef.
