Adding them to my existing Ring app was a breeze and took about 2 minutes each. Installation was simple but I did by some mounts that helped me get my desired angle. Over I would highly recommend.

The picture is clear and covers a wide are over my garage door. Would recommend get a wired one instead of battery powered.

We understand the importance of having a solid charge on your Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Battery so that you are able to have a longer time between charge cycles. Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your device set up for optimal battery-life performance. The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner.
To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can:
Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity.
Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones."
Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically.
You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion.
You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery.
To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check.
Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage."
Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length.".

I am able to see further out, which is great for me because I live by myself. You can also talk through the ring so you don’t have to actually answer the door. I’m really glad I purchased these.

The image quality is way better and I love the wideangle lens. I can see so much more with the newer camera and I also like the built in adjustable mount. I dont have anything bad to say about the product. Would definitely recommend. Transaction and delivery through best buy was smooth and quick

The range of view is much better than my previous model — it captures more area with less blind spots. The image quality is also noticeably improved, both day and night. Setup was simple, and it’s been super reliable so far. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a clearer, wider view for your outdoor security.

As we moved to a new location our driveway is not visible to us when we are inside. The Ring Outdoor Cam Plus gives a wonderful picture of a very wide driveway all the way to the street. The picture is always crystal clear!! Would recommend it to anyone!

It sounds like you have some concerns about which features require a Ring Protect Plan subscription. Without a Ring Protect plan, your Ring products provide certain features such as Live View, Two-Way Talk, and Real-Time Notifications on your smartphone. Ring Protect plans simply offer additional features for those who want them. Here are some additional features that are included when you subscribe to a Ring Protect plan.
1. Video History for up to 180 Days. Access recorded videos of every motion and Live View event for up to 180 days.
2. Device Modes. Customize when your cameras record, remotely Arm and Disarm your Ring Alarm, and more, all in the Ring app.
3. Smart Alerts. Cut through notification clutter by only getting an alert when your camera spots a person, package, or vehicle.
4. Extended Live View. See what your camera sees for up to 30 minutes at a time.
