My only criticism is installing the camera outside. There was some difficulty in how to place it from where we wanted the best view.

The ring camera does work properly...but that stand will not fit on correctly....When I have to move the ring camera...the ring camera spends around and I have to keep setting the device up again.

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like your device is not operating as expected in regard to the installation. When attaching the camera to its mount, the base of the camera needs to be aligned with the bracket and then twisted clockwise until it clicks securely into place. If the connection feels loose, try removing the camera completely and reseating it, making sure the tabs on the camera line up with the slots on the mount before twisting.
