It has a fish eye view and does ok. I setup this new camera above my garage and it picks everything up with a crystal clear view. Great add-on to my ring setup.

I can monitor my loft and stair well to see who's coming up and going down stairs. My wife and I absolutely love this . Will be buying more soon.

Problem with mode settings

However this camera for some reason (not even ring support knew why) the camera will not show up in Mode Settings, so the Home, Stay and Away function is useless for this camera. I have to manually go to the camera settings and turn the camera on and off. I have two other ring camera’s and they both work great in the Mode Settings. Luckily I purchased the geek squad extended warranty, because best buy only has a 14 day return/exchange policy. I’ve never heard of a company having less than 30 days to return/exchange a product. There are a couple other issues with this camera as well. Hopefully after I exchange this camera, the new, new camera works the way it’s should.

Easy set up, low maintenance

The battery lasts a long while as long as you are doing the minimum when it comes to motion recording. Ring just addressed one of my biggest issues, in home mode now the default is no motion recording.

Great add-on for the Ring systems

Easy to use and after you get so many of them you don't pay any extra money for the subscription service. The camera is quality and easy to set up. This particular model is great for putting someplace where you don't have power or need to temporarily keep an eye on something.

Charged the battery, mounted the camera in the location I wanted and paired it up with my door bell and I was viewing live images in seconds. I highly recommend this camera
