We bought it to cover areas that the other cameras didn't pick up. We did have to move it to the outside because where we had it inside, the picture would reflect off the window glass.

Great camera, zero free storage

If you don’t see motion when it occurs, you don’t see it! They were great quality and had a great picture but I’m just not paying another monthly fee for storage.

We understand the importance of having events recorded on your Ring Outdoor Cam. Without a Ring Home plan, your Ring products provide certain features such as Live View, Two-Way Talk, and Real-Time Notifications on your smartphone. Ring Home plans simply offer additional features for those who want them. Here are some additional features that are included when you subscribe to a Ring Home Plan.
1. Video History for up to 180 Days. Access recorded videos of every motion and Live View event for up to 180 days.
2. Snapshot Capture. See what's happening in between motion-activated events with recurring photo snapshots taken throughout the day.
3. Package and Person Alerts. Enable to get a notification only when your device spots a person or when there's a package in designated areas.
4. Rich Notifications. See exactly what triggered an alert with a photo preview right in the notification without opening the Ring app.

Not 100% happy with all the mounting options as there isn't a huge range of angles you are able to mount this camera at. Overall, very happy.

I have some issues with the settings, not camera defect, it's me not understanding exactly how to put it the modes for operation and notifications. Eventually as I work with it, I am sure I will figure it out.

Battery only and after a month still at 52 %. I would recommend for anyone needing wireless security.

It’s so much easier than having to have a wired model outside. Works just like every other ring product. Nice picture quality. Picks up motion just fine.
