They are so useful when you have sides of the house you want to be able to see without having to walk around the house at night. The privacy setting for neighbors is pretty awesome as well. We got 4 of them when they were around $50 a camera. It was a steal.

Also i think it needs a better mic as it picks up too much ambient noise.
