The Night Vision feature is an invaluable feature of the Ring Ring Outdoor Cam(Formerly known as Stick Up Cam) that allows you to clearly view what’s happening on your property after dark. We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.

In the Ring app, you have the option to turn Color Night Vision on or off for select Ring Doorbells and Cameras. Color Night Vision adds color to video in low light for improved clarity and motion detection. With the feature turned off, your Ring device will show video captured at night in black and white.
To turn the Color Night Vision on or off, follow these instructions:

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap the Menu (☰).
3. Tap Devices.
4. Select the device you want to adjust.
5. Tap Device Settings.
6. Tap Video Settings.
7. Toggle Color Night Vision on or off.

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with the camera's view from the ceiling. The Ring Stick Up Cam is our leading indoor and outdoor-ready security camera with flexible mounting options. Ring Stick Up Cam must be positioned right-side up if it is mounted on the ceiling. If Ring Stick Up Cam is mounted upside-down, videos viewed with a Ring Protect Plan subscription will also be upside-down. Video orientation cannot be changed in the Ring app. Your Ring Stick Up Cam can keep your home protected from indoors and outside — whether it’s sitting on its stand or mounted to the ceiling using a Ring Stick Up Cam Mount (sold separately).
